While looking for a seat with my family, we found all the empty booths were not clean and located one mostly clean half booth in the rear of the store. While walking to our table, I heard someone say “I want you to understand I can fire you right now but I not going to”. I looked over to see what appeared to be two members of the management team counseling a team member at an adjacent table. The counseling went on for about 10 minutes and the entire conversation could be heard without trying to listen. The woman, later identified as the General Manager, had absolutely zero tact in her approach over an apparent uniform violation (wearing the wrong hat). Having served in a managerial position I understand the importance of the little things, but I also understand the importance of the approach. Though I don’t know the context, she told the employee that she is scared of him sometimes. The entire patio was empty and it was only about 80 degrees outside, a much more suitable place to have this conversation. The end of the counseling was filled some personal remarks about previous employment and future plans for a management role. These seemed very insincere and an attempt to soften the overall tone. The employee sat there and was quiet and respectful during the meeting. I approach the employee after the meeting ended in an attempt to provide words of encouragement, at which point the GM interjected and denied any wrong doing, being dismissive of my point of view. Having to listen to this counseling session and the unprofessionalism of the management team caused me to lose my appetite and I didn’t even touch my food. I won’t be back to Panera.

Clean, fast service. Fresh, tasty food...at times crowded but understandable.
Frankly the food was fine, not great but what should be expected. But ordering was a terrible experience, that short blonde haired manager was so loud that I couldn’t hear the sweet cashier ringing me up speak. (you could tell she was management because she was on her phone the entire time while every other employee was rushing around her. Yes, she was standing in the middle of their path.) But here’s the real kicker, while I was waiting for my food, I heard her talking trash about another employee, I couldn’t tell which one she was speaking about, but her tone was so rude, frankly a manager like this shouldn’t be allowed out of the back.

During the lunch rush, I had been waiting in line for a while, two girls at the register and a blonde, short haired lady on her phone before she noticed the line and proceeded to walk to the back while the workers were left on their own. Once I ordered, I was waiting for my food when she came out again and started to make drinks and check orders. Her tone of voice was impatient and nasty, and she had a ton of unchecked bags that another girl had to help with. She then proceeded to leave bags there for that girl to do, while there was still a line, and go to the back once again. Very unprofessional and I felt so bad for the workers because of how busy it was and this lady wasn’t helping whatsoever.

It's been awhile since I've eaten here; usually I would avoid as I had some bad results with this chain. But recently stopped by for a sandwich and it was pretty good. Actually, it was excellent! I've been back a couple of times and have had consistently good food and experiences. From attached photo of the, Avotoast, you can see that I had 1 good slice of tomato, a so-so tomato and 1 that was cut so thin you read through it. So watch out for that. At least the 1 good slice had good flavor.
Ordered the broccoli cheddar soup and it was nasty the soup was watered down and taste really different from what I usually taste not a happy customer.

Ordered the pick two and the sandwich looks like it has been sitting in a bag all day for a kid at summer camp. Soup is no better. The chicken is questionable for authenticity. Never ordering from here
