The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille

Came in around 3pm on a Friday for a late lunch/early dinner. Food and atmosphere were great. The restaurant wasn’t busy but service from our server in particular was slow. I watched the other server tend to the tables next to us wonderfully. We didn’t even receive an offer for a drink refill when our drinks were empty shortly after our food was brought out by another staff member. Waited about 10 minutes after finishing our meals for the server to return at which point I just asked for the check.

Great food and friendly service. We have had 2 events here this year and everything was amazing. Our waitress Maya is always friendly and accommodating.

The cowboy burger was great! The drinks were definitely worth the price. And the atmosphere was exactly what a sports bar is supposed to be!!!

It was a nice clean restaurant. The staff was friendly and the food was good.

We were seated with no server (in between to large groups) and no one came over until after about 30 minutes. Alex came by after we wave him down. He apologized explained and stepped up... service was great after that. However the cheese steak sandwich needed some work...

I had to stop what Im doing at work to write this review. I am a nurse at one of the nearby hospitals around the Green Turtle in Laplata, MD. My co workers and i work night shift and always order from here every night that we work. I want to send a quick THANK YOU to Steve, one of the managers. He quickly resolved a small issue and was very kind and showed excellent customer service. Again, thank you STEVE...

Thanks very much to Meredith and the team at Green Turtle! We reserved the back room to host the Hooks & Hangers staff appreciation dinner. Everything was perfect. Our servers Christine and Tony took excellent care of us (all 40 of us!). The food was yummy, the atmosphere was fun and everyone had a great time. The Green Turtle is a restaurant in our community that truly gets it. They are always quick to support local events and that means a lot. Thank you again for all that you do!

We had a family table of 10. We all went because of the BoGo burgers. It was so many changes to our orders. But our waitress Mya handle it all. We gave a great big Thank You to her and the manger. The Family fun group, Penny's, Swann, Mason, Savoy, Matthew

We’ve had awful service the last couple of times we have been there but last night was the worst. Our server smelled so badly of cigarette smoke. We sat in the bar area and it took forever to be greeted. Our food came out wrong and the server, Ashely, didn’t even know because she never came back. Someone else took care of it. In the time they remade the meal and brought it back out, she still never came back over. I ate the entire meal and she still never was back. We never got refills on our drinks or the salt we wanted and finally I went to the bar and told the other bartender that she hadn’t been back, I really wanted another drink and others we were with wanted to order more drinks. They sent someone else over with the check, instead of our server coming over to check on us. Super disappointing dinner.

Horrible service, was seated quickly, put in an order for an appetizer, still had not come out 30 minutes later, plenty of staff sitting around and very few customers in the restaurant. Asked our server for the check for my drinks and was informed they were just “hanging out” in the kitchen. We paid for the drinks and left.

Update 3 weeks later: Owners replied saying they will handle it, I emailed my information and haven’t heard anything back.
