“Well for tasty fast food and extremely kind and courteous service Chick-fil-A can’t be beat. This location was visited on a busy Saturday around lunch time and we were through the line within 5 minutes. The lady that was cleaning the seating area of the restaurant was so friendly and polite! She offered to get us refills on our drinks while we were eating. Good food and clean dining area and bathrooms made this an awesome lunch visit!”

“Had breakfast there this morning. Nicely remodeled. Food came out fast and hot. Tasted pretty good. Derek was great. We never had to ask for refills on drinks and he was very pleasant and on point.”

“I ordered the simple $6 fish basket. It was all fresh and the fish was so good. Reminds me of the old Arthur Teachers fish. They even have malt vinegar. And the cashier was so friendly and nice. Lord willing, we'll be back.”

“Im normally a drive through customer but I decided to stop in and do a lil review of the operation. I can say things are not looking great in a few spots from cobwebs around dring area. To poetically trip hazards in the kitchen due to patch work flooring. The staff are making accurate orders and friendly from what ive seen every time I made eye contact I was greeted with a smile back thats 😊”

“The blizzard was good. They were offering blizzards for buy one get one for 1.58. It was never mentioned. Ending up using a code at the window to get the second one for 1.99. Was dissapointed to go through the trouble to get a deal.”

“This store is run very well I knew it was a summerwood location and that my food would be made correctly and they would have great service. I worked as an AGM for a summerwood Taco Bell and I ate at a restaurant in Tappahannock, VA the other day. It was one of the worst experiences ever, so I used the 10$ promo Taco Bell corporate provided because the Tappahannock store (not owned by summerwood) would not refund my order when the beans in the bean burritos were dry and still hard. I’m so glad I used the promo code at a summerwood location. Every taco bell I’ve been to that’s owned by summerwood has been run very well and the food has always been excellent.”

“I’ve been a Starbucks lover since forever and Draven at LaVale is honestly the sweetest man ever! I’ve personally been in the store and in the drive thru and have heard people cuss and yell at the employees when they are only trying to do their job . He has been such a bright spot and I pray every store has a Draven.”

“I got the New York Strip steak with a Sweet Potato and Broccoli. I added cheese on the broccoli. The cheese was a mistake. I don't know what it was... but, it wasn't very good. The sweet potato was good. I'd order that, again. My New York Strip steak was very good and was cooked to a perfect Medium, which is what I ordered. However, another individual in our party ordered the Beef Tips. When his order came, he complained that there were very few tips. About only 5 would be my guess. In a separate bowl were the mushrooms. There were 2 or 3 times as much mushrooms than beef tips. The bowl was nearly over flowing with mushrooms. It look like the mushrooms were the main course of the beef tips meal. The third member of our party didn't have complaints or praises, either way, about the food.

Our waiter was no where near what I've grown to expect in waiters and waitresses. He refilled the other two people's coffee, but never once asked if I wanted a refill on my lemonade. He was always rushed, abrupt and curt in his service. The service could be a lot better.

The atmosphere and esthetics of the place were Western and Texas like. I really enjoyed the looks of the place.”
