Didn't even get served today as the server took far too long to stop and ask what we want to drink let alone think of what we wanted for a meal. The place was fairly empty for a Thursday late morning meal.

I am so disappointed with our experience today at Bob Evans. The waitress we had was so neglectful. She didn't come back to check on us at all. We needed a box to take our food home but there were no servers to be found. We couldn't get a refill on our drinks. It was like the girl took our order and everyone just disappeared. A few other customers were also looking for help. I also waited for a very long time and never got my bill. I finally saw three servers standing in the back talking and our waitress was playing on her cell phone. I waited a few more minutes and they still were not paying any attention to the customers and the dining room. I had to go to the cashier and tell her that I don't have my check. She asked me what we ordered and then rang me up. It was the first time I have not left a tip at a restaurant in many years. As it was very slow in the restaurant at the time, there was no excuse for the very poor service

I had breakfast here. The service was great. I had bacon, eggs, potatoes and biscuits. Everything was really good except the potatoes. They tasted like old grease. But Everything else was really good.

Myself and a friend came in on a Saturday afternoon. It was a little busy and they only had two servers that I saw but we still were waited on quickly. Our waitress Bri was very kind! There was an issue with my turkey dinner. It was a little dry and I thought the portion size was small so my waitress brought over the manager on duty, Payton. She was very kind and fixed the issue no questions asked. Even though initially the food didn’t meet my standards it was a swift recovery. I will 100% be back in the future!
The highlight of the visit was the server who was friendly and attentive. Beyond that not much to commend this restaurant. There was a considerable delay in getting our food which was mediocre at best: French toast was barely warm and was mushy, turkey was closer to deli than carved, salad was so so, and biscuits seemed like they had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. We were hungry so we ate what was served, and we did receive a 20% discount for our wait which was greatly appreciated, but we'll make another dining choice when passing through Cumberland again.

I ordered Chicken fried steak and eggs for breakfast today. My funny story is I went to cut my CFS and didn't notice I had my knife blade up and the dull side of the knife cut it like butter. Sooo tender! The cook today gave us as perfect a breakfast as you could get. And our waitress is the dearest lady. She is so attentive and doesn't miss a thing. Thanks, Bob's LaVale. Sublime!

The service was very good, the the side dishes were good. I just didn't care for the honey glazed chicken breasts, they were kinda bland. I never had it before, but thought I would try it. If I go back I will probably order the Farm Burger which I have enjoyed in the past.

I normally like Bob Evans but this time my food was awful. Don't order the fish platter. 2 of the 3 pieces were burnt. The reorder came out almost as bad. The waitress' explanation was that's how they're made. (Uh, someone doesn't know how to cook.)
