Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Now I remember why I stopped going to Cracker Barrel. The service is absolutely the worst I have encountered in a long time. They were a little busy, but no excuse for the poor service. First, I think the server forgot about my drink because she walked by me two times before asking if I ordered a Coke. Then, it was a few minutes until I received it. Second, when the food arrived, they forgot the bread and I had no silverware. Third, I waited a couple minutes until I saw the server and asked for it. She went to the back and after a few minutes came back with just a fork. I was afraid after such a wait the food would be cold, fortunately it was hot. Fourth, she never came back and asked how everything was. I finally got her attention and asked for bread. Fifth, by the time she finally brought it (just tossed it on the table and walked away, no apology) I had eaten most of my food. Now, the food. The hashbrown casserole is disgusting. This used to be one of the best items on the menu. The cheese they now use is awful tasting and the potatoes are mushy. The mac n cheese is dry and not tasty at all. The meatloaf was edible and had a good taste, but was a bit dry. (I should have asked for ketchup). The dumplings were probably the best part of the meal. The portion was large and tasted good. The chicken should have been shredded and spread throughout, but it was just a dry chunk on the bottom. The cornbread is extremely dry and bland. Biscuits are "doughy" and not too good. The place is quite noisy, seating and room temperature comfortable. Overall, 1 for service (this is for the polite young man working the register) and 2 for food quality. I seriously doubt I will return. It was a waste of my time and hard-earned money.

Staff was nice and friendly. Store was clean. The bathroom was clean as well.

They got rid of the pot pie, ran out of the turkey dinner that was advertised. The only 2 reasons I come there. Probably won't be back.

It was my birthday and my sister asked if they did anything for birthday. They offered a free dessert of choice and the entire staff came to our table to si g Happy Birthday to me! Love my Cracker Barrel ❤️

Got order to go. Food was a very big let down. Have always been a fan of cracker barrel. But when more of the food goes in the trash than is eaten. Hash brown casserole was so dry and dumplings had no substance. Just mush and tasteless. Apple butter was even flat tasting. Big let down.

Our server took our order, brought our food, asked how everything was, left the bill and disappeared. we would have liked drink refills but she was no where to be found, I had to find another waitress to get a carry out container fir left over food. We got up to leave and as we were leaving she appeared and said thanks for comming.

The food was ok, great waitress, was being worked to death. Need more help. Need to update menu. Mens room needed cleaning.

Food was cold and burnt when it came out.. server kept disappearing and never checked back once food came out.

In a few recent visits we have had cold food issues and service is sub par.
