“This was a first trip and won't be the last. I stopped in to get a gift card for my parents and figured I might as well try it out. Very clean and cozy inside and surprisingly packed. Still plenty of seating available. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I got the two pork chop dinner with baked potato and cole slaw. The pork chops were fried just right and the baked potato had butter and sour cream. The cole slaw was shredded fine and was creamy. My food came out very quick and my whole meal with drink and roll was $16. I will be returning and trying something different on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible for a wheelchair.“

“My wife, daughter, and I stopped here for a quick lunch. The burgers were crisp and tasty, but not dry or overly greasy. Cheap prices too. Gene was super friendly. My family is scattered around the area, but we are from Connecticut. I'm sure 99% of his customers are locals, so this review is a reminder to them to pay Gene a visit for some good food, and for those passing through that are searching "food near me" to stop there for some good affordable things to eat. ?“
“This is a nice place. A little run down, but still kempt and neat. Food was great, especially the apple berry tea. The server got overwhelmed by being sat with 3 or 4 parties all at once on her section, but seemed to handle it without too much frazzleness.“
