The Filling Station is a top-notch hometown spot serving quality food and is a nice quiet diner with solid food and friendly service. The Captain's Chicken Fingers are highly recommended, and the cheeseburger with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles remains a standout choice. Breakfast options include the delicious Sunshine Stack, a breakfast bowl, chipped beef and gravy, and their special pumpkin stuffed French toast, which is awesome. The homemade biscuits, pancakes, and sausage gravy, noted for being the best ever with flavorful sausage, are cooked perfectly. American Fries are plentiful and perfectly done, making it a good stop if passing through. Despite needing new seats, the fairly priced meals and great service, along with a welcoming and attentive staff, make this restaurant a must-visit in Cumberland.
