We love a good hometown breakfast and this place hits the nail on the head. I commend them for their quality food.. homemade biscuits, pancakes with a crisp edge, and no slippery oiled eggs like the chain restaurants have. Sausage Gravy was flavorful and also homemade, not from a can. Sausage patties also look hand pattied and not brought in frozen. Everything was cooked perfectly. All that and it is fairly priced!Could use some new seats but that doesn't matter... the food matters.

I wanted a good cheeseburger. Well I found a really good cheeseburger at a reasonable price. This burger with provolone cheese lettuce, tomato, and pickles was one of the best burgers I have eaten in Cumberland. Price $12 for a burger, fries and 1/2 cut tea. Great burger and great service with reasonable price.

This little place was clean and the service was good, but I was there during a lull. The food was excellent and I enjoyed it very much. The serving was large enough that I needed a to go box for the remainder. The price was pretty much on par with anywhere else.

Outstanding. Best biscuits and gravy around. Biscuits and gravy, home fries and coffee for under $10!

Best value in town for a sit down restaurant. Eggs, bacon, ham, and pancakes at 10 dollars is a good price. I love how they fold the scrambled eggs, and the pancakes were delicious.Dinner is also delicious, I would recommend the chicken sandwich. The service is pleasant, and in a way, just feels so genuine.5 stars.Edit: Still good value, but I recently went here after I had posted this review, and got the Pop's Special Sandwich. Not only did it taste subpar, it also made my stomach quite upset afterwards. Still, breakfast is very worth it.4 Stars.

As soon as we walked in, we realize this was definitely the place to eat. There were so many people coming out with takeout containers, and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. We stepped in the door with the staff greeting us within seconds. It was seat yourself, which we didn't have an issue with and found a nice booth aside the Bride and Groom skeletons. Sunday Brunch menu was well presented and had we known or taken into account customers leaving with take out containers we saw on the way in we may have ordered differently. In any case this place was awesome! The chip beef gravy over the square biscuits was incredible and the price point was unbelievable. The biscuits were soft and flaky, and the gravy, warm, delicious, and plenty of it, covering the whole plate. In addition to that I ordered one pumpkin pancake and it was the largest pancake I have ever seen served up and I'm glad I did not order two because I thought I was going to get one about the size of a dessert plate not the size of a charger plate. It was served up with its own ginger syrup which I added a little bit, in addition to their sugar-free syrup. The pancake tasted like it was a traditional slice of pumpkin pie served up in pancake form. It's highly, HIGHLY recommended. My wife ordered the biscuits with sausage, gravy and fried eggs with a side of potatoes, and she ordered a plain pancake. It was equally as delicious, her biscuits were just as fluffy and delicious, and the sausage gravy was out of this world with enough to cover the biscuits and the fried egg with plenty extra to go around. The fried potatoes were overflowing on a dessert sized plate, and more than enough for both of us to share, and she absolutely loved her pancake and was equally in awe as to the size as it was presented to us on a very large plate as well. We ordered water and coffee and both were refilled continually by our very friendly server. I loved that the coffee was served in a clear glass coffee cup. Very nice touch. We will be stopping here again in the future and will try out lunch as well. This is certainly "The Filling Station"!
