During a recent trip to Virginia from the West Coast, my wife and I drove three hours to visit your center and café on Eid Adha day. Your website indicated a 7:00 PM closing time; however, we arrived shortly before 6:30 PM to find the cafe closed. Despite this discrepancy, the staff member at the window displayed a lack of courtesy, stating from behind the counter that closing time was 6:00 PM and dismissing our reference to your website. We and other visitors were extremely disappointed with this experience.

Very small portions, 10 percent gratitude is mandatory it’s added to your bill. Plus they ask tip. No water is free this is not Turkish hospitality. All profits go to mosque lots of signs say so. Since Turkish religious affairs has 10 time more budget than NASA why do they still need money from people?

Fantastic experience. Doner sandwich and adana Kabab were great along with the tea.

The place was recommended by many international friends so we tried it. It will give you a glimpse of Turkish cuisine and it’s average. You won’t be disappointed. Only thing is the whole place feels like a cult meeting hall which was disturbing.

I gave them chance after chance to make my order right and every single time, i am disappointed. The amount of money they charge for simple dishes is absurd and to make it wrong EVERY SINGLE time saddens me. As a fellow muslim, I expected to be treated fair with my money and service. Sadly as another reviewer noted, they are not good men. Fear Allah. Everything you give, comes back to you.

Beautiful Turkish breakfast! Service was super fast.

Excellent. All together excellent. Good food-- all handmade-- the service was amazing (we had Mustafa), the building was a work of art. Highly recommend.

Finally, after 7 years they gave me and my friend 2 Turkish tea without any cent. Thanks! (According to Turkish traditions, we do not pay for the tea served after the meal.)

DCA Café is hands down one of the best places for Turkish food in the U.S. The flavors are authentic, the portions are generous, and everything feels homemade. Plus, it’s right next to a beautiful mosque, which adds such a unique and peaceful vibe to the experience. Great food, great location.
