I have ordered isiewu for more than 7 times in the last 4months and the only time I enjoyed it was the first day I dined in. The rest was delivery and they were all terrible, the taste was good to be frank but it was all bones with either 4 peices of meat with bones or 5 pcs with bones. It seems like they count it, then they make it up with bones and sauce with very tiny ugba. I mean pure bones and on two different orders they had to add 3 large pcs of meat that looks like liver meat, Trashed. Liver in goat head? I called and they apologised. Several times I gave benefit of doubt but they seem not ready to treat customers better. Not worth it. 4 or 5pcs of meat and the rest is bone and sauce. You're basically buying sauce and dry bones. I just bought 2 plates and they are both same issues, the only change is that they didnt add liver meat this time.

I have not tried the food yet but will give a update when I do. I had a stressful week and it's my birthday month so I googled closet bars and this was the first one that one that pop up. And I must say no disappointment. Listen these Africans no how to party and they except everyone. The vibes is real. Listen and the drinks are worth the money they are not stingy. I will definitely be coming back lm Real vibes from a Trini. I was by myself but loved the vibe. I believe the manager or owner saw me standing at the bar and checked to see what I needed. And no disrespect I was the only African American by paper in the place but I felt loved . No matter what race come have fun I guarantee u will be shocked. Let's put them on the map

Best Boss ever pays his workers on time, so friendly and easy to talk to. The food always great ? music on point and the environment clean especially the bathroom unlike most places in DMV. Works there and not trading there for no other place ? ?☺️

The owner who they call Doc is a scammer, he has a case against him for fraudulently gave out CNA certificates and medical assistance certificates. I was a bartender at his lounge. I bought people in and earned gratuity plus hourly I never got. This place needs to be shut down. The food is trash it’s rats etc!

Wasn't the vybe I expected but I'll try them again next time I'm in townI'll go into detail if history repeats itself
My friends and I were looking for somewhere to grab food in the area, and GQ Palace Restaurant & Lounge was one of the only options that opened until late (2am).
Definitely keep in mind that this is a lounge/club, so if you plan on being able to talk while dining in the evening - this may not be the option that you want to go with.
The service was very very slow… There was some slight confusion with the waitress when our table gave our order - but luckily we were able to iron it out before the food arrived.
It could have been that we were super hungry - but the food did seem to take a long time to come out. We decided that was likely a good thing as it meant it was being freshly prepared 🤷🏽♀️.
Overall the Suya was tasty, and the pepper sauce served on the side was actually a good spice level. The Nwkobi (cow feet) was tasty - and it had been a while since I’d had it, so that was a pleasant surprise. My friends had the Fried Rice and Goat Soup and they both agreed that it was tasty.
I wish I had checked the bill properly before paying… I wasn’t aware of the 15% additional service charge added to each bill. Maybe if I had known that I wouldn’t have added such a generous tip.
Overall, the music and food was good. But it was super duper loud and the service could be improved a lot.
