I stopped by to order some sesame chicken and beef lo mein.I waited for about 12 minutes and I sat down and ate my food because I was the only one there.The food was hot and delicious, tasted as it should have. They gave me a complimentary pint of white rice. It wasn't busy, only one 2 other people came in 30 minutes.

I got the general Tao chicken lunch special!!! Several options for only $7.99 I would say it was very very SPICY!!! Too spicy for liking .. the rice has no eggs so how is it fried rice? Then it was a yellow color the 2 pieces of broccoli had no flavor!! The other dish was wings with fried rice and tasted very regular!!

Just ordered a 3 wing and fried rice combo with no vegetables. On the ordering app, there was no option to choose plain fried rice; therefore, it was added on the note box for this meal: "NO VEGETABLES ON FRIED RICE PLEASE AND THANK YOU!" They apparently don't read the notes for special orders. I'm in a cast so I can't drive to pick or drop off food. Even if I wanted to take it back to complain, I couldn't. I spent more time removing the vegetables versus eating my food. Additionally, there was no flavor that I can taste on the rice. Only reason why they even have a star is because the wings were the only good thing on my plate. No utensils were given with my order either. Never again will I order from here again.

There's a saying--even bad pizza is good pizza. Like you know you've had better, but it's still decent, so you eat it. I tried to apply this logic to Chinses food--even bad Chinese is good Chinese. Well, boy was wrong. I can't even say "bad," it was actually horrible. What carry out spot doesn't know how to get the flavor of fried rice right? It had a weird taste and it didn't taste old, but they are not using the correct seasonings, next, the texture of the rice was hard. I ended up using a lot of soy sauce to make it taste better. I ordered pepper chicken and it should be called pepper veggies. There were 5 skimpy slivers of chicken (I know bc I actually counted!) The container was stuffed with onions and peppers, in fact more onions than peppers, they probably should call this dish pepper onion. This was my 1st time trying Johnny's only bc I was being cheap and didn't want to spend a lot in Doordash fees. Johnny's you have one chance and you blew it! It's safe to see this is the WORST Chinese food I have ever had. Don't do it! You've been warned! Net time, I will stick to what I know, there's a spot in Lanham on Lanham Severn Road, called Eastern Panda, and they are pricey--but now I see why. There food is amazing--hot--and FRESH, always delicious!! I also reviewed Good Jerry's in Greenbelt. While their daughter has a horrible attitude, their food is delicious, seasoned just right and hot & fresh (just ignore the teenager with the nasty attitude). Johnny's, I will not be back! Look at my pix to see the amount of onions and peppers I had to put to the side!

I have ordered from Johnny's for 5 years. the food is always excellent. Steak and cheese egg roll was bomb. Shrimp lo-mein, and etc...
Excellent food, welcoming staff members, consistently great atmosphere. They charge reasonable prices and the food quality is great. 5 stars.
They serve a large fry box for 5 dollars and there’s a Danny’s across the street that has a 3 dollar fry box that’s twice as big.
The food is okay. The service is rather sloppy and lacks sanitation.
