Freezing cold inside, made dining in very uncomfortable.

Lukewarm greeting from staff. They actually held the best seats. We are from Jersey, so we love going to black owned establishments. This was not the service we expected, though tolerable, just not warm and welcoming at all.

Very very good food. The temperature was not HOT but warm, bc of the outer issues none of us sent our food back for reheating. The award winning dish was phenomenal, grits and shrimp 👏🏾 👏🏾
The chicken is served with a perfect crunch!

Our server was 2 weeks in and she's outstanding!!

My meal for mee and my son was $80 with no appetizer.

Their special tea was served served just over 1/2 full at $7 with no free refills. We had to ask to have the glasses filled closer to a normal portion. I have a photo of my glass.

I ordered the blacken salmon and grits. It was very tasty and delicious! I was also pleased with the portion size for the money. Service and atmosphere was 5 star.

Literally don’t know where to begin! The food was IMPECCABLE!! Got the Smothered Chicken & Biscuits. The tendernism!!! The flavor was spot-on! Chef Oliver did that!!! Every dish at our table not only tasted AMAZING, but the presentation was also intentional and gorgeous. The chicken and biscoff waffles are so pretty we didn’t even want to ruin it.

Kevin was a PHENOMENAL host/server! He had such a warm and inviting energy and was so funny/engaging!

Erika, the manager, was also such a treat! What a wonderful team and great experience. We will be back!!

First of all, I'm not sure why they have a 4.1 stars when I wrote this review cuz everything was amazing, the food... as ALWAYS. The service, was great, KEVIN, KEVIN, KEVIN... served us wonderfully. and the atmosphere was decorated quite nicely, for the holidays, loved the decor. THANK YOU CHEF OLIVER! it's always this way though, every time, I've come, take out, eat in, doesn't matter. Very confused about the stars... Let's bring them up, please!

Me and my boyfriend were visiting Washington and my sisters showed us this amazing restaurant! Kevin was PHENOMENAL! amazing service and so kind! The food was beyond my expectations. The pictures speak for themselves! Food was EXTRAORDINARY!!!! I wish my boyfriend and I lived here so we can come as much as we want! Thank you so much for this amazing experience

Fantastic service! We were set as soon as we walked in and I ordered the Biscoff chicken and waffles and my boyfriend ordered the smothered chicken and biscuits. I also got candied yams on the side and everything was fantastic. I think those were the best candied yams I've ever had in my life and whatever breading they use for their chicken is amazing! Also it's really nice to have good sweet tea and the attention to detail in plating was wonderful. I would absolutely recommend anyone to come by and try it out. Worth every penny.

Disappointing table service. Glasses sat out and were dirty. The table needed to be wiped down, but did not happen when our order was taken. I ordered coffee but had to wait 10 more minutes for a spoon. I've frequented this establishment on several occasions for takeout and was always satisfied. For an excellent dine in experience, I recommend the College Park location at 10280 Baltimore Ave.

I enjoyed the customer service. The manager is very friendly and welcoming. Honestly, she put a smile on my face. The atmosphere felt very homey. Absolutely, loved the Christmas decorations. I ordered the Chicken and Biscoff Waffles. The chicken was very crispy and well seasoned. The waffles were very delicious. I would go back again. 10/10 would recommend the Chicken and Biscoff Waffles when you go there.

We came back to MD for a two day trip to attend a funeral in the area. I didn’t want complementary breakfast in the hotel, and we didn’t have a lot of time. This was a wonderful breakfast location and great for us! My husband is from the south and I am from Maryland, so you know I had to try the crab hash! He had a traditional breakfast and raved about the hash towns. The deviled eggs are deep fried and amazing! They just got their liquor license so be patient. This place is a yummy break-for-brunch spot! The manager was very welcoming helpful. She helped me choose the hash, delicately reminding me that I can get seafood pasta anywhere and to try something new. The honey butter biscuits are such a requirement that I got two orders to go! Thank you! -

The food is amazing and our waitress took good care of my family and I. I will definitely be back again. The parking at Woodmore can be challenging, but there's a nearby parking lot.
