Found this place by accident after taking my daughter to Urban Air, and all 3 of us loved it! Will definitely return.

Unfortunately, I have to give 1★. I’m quite unsatisfied. The atmosphere is nice, but the food is far from authentic. The biryani tasted like plain rice mixed with some curry and lacked any aroma.

They served “combatore” (which I assume was meant to be a crispy, potato-masala-stuffed dish), but it was soggy and oddly sweet.

The aloo paratha was more like a stuffed naan rather than the traditional version.

The food was amazing. We ordered the coconut chicken chef special, puffy bread, crab Malabar, and finished off with pistachio coffee and chai.

It was all delicious and because we asked about the butter chicken, they brought us some to sample. Which was basically a half serving. And it was the best butter chicken I’ve ever had.

The servings are enormous and the prices very reasonable.

Very sweet servers, lots of room, plenty of parking.

Our go-to indian place in Laurel. Our favorites are lamb saag and lamb vindaloo. So good!

I’ve talked with some friends for India and they consider this is a good traditional Indian place to try India gastronomy. Not sure what part of India since the country is big and may vary from one city to another. However, the food was good just a bit spacy for me.

Did take out of vegetarian Indian fusion food from here. The food was tasty and flavorful without being too spicy hot or heavy on spice.

Calm and casual Saturday evening experience for a party of four. Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious and portions were plentiful for a second meal. Mango Lassi was a fantastic treat to complete the experience. Highly recommend.

Went here 2 days in a row because the food was amazing. The service is very very slow. They don't clear the table until you order something else or leave the restaurant. Also, they forgot our takeout order, which took them an extra 20 mins to make again. So if you're in a hurry, it's not the place for you.

Very good food. Clean and simply decorated. The majority of customers were of the same culture, which says a lot about the authenticity of the food.

I was excited to try Amber Spice because I heard they had excellent Indian cuisine, which I love. But my experience wasn’t great. Apparently the restaurant closes between lunch and dinner, but the host did not immediately tell me that when I walked in for takeout. So while I was looking over the menu, he abruptly asked me to make a selection before the kitchen closed. I felt rushed. I ordered the Karahi, I believe. It was spicier than I expected, but decent overall. Again, not a great first impression for this restaurant, but perhaps I’ll try again in the future and hope for a better experience.
