“I don’t understand how a single person could rate this establishment less than a 5 stars. You’re getting fast food in 2024 for the same price it cost in 2004. You would easily spend 3-6x as much for the same amount of fast food at literally any other restaurant. On top of all of that the food was fresh, the employees were friendly, and the inside while being slightly dated was clean. What more can you ask for?“
“Been here a few times in my life, and the food has always been very good, as well as the service. The restaurant is tucked away in this business complex at the end of Main Street, Laurel, MD. There is plenty of parking in the back, and a cute stoned stairway takes you around the side of the building, and to the front of the restaurant. The interior is a decent size, with plenty of tables to choose from, as well as a bar, and tons of blues music memorabilia on the walls to entertain the eyes (the restaurant's theme). I ordered a half rack of ribs and a pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and coleslaw. The ribs were fantastic, and the meat fell off of the bone. The pulled pork was cooked nicely, but was a little on the bland side. The potato salad and coleslaw were also very good, but also a little bland. I think they under season a lot of their food so that not every bite you take is saturated with richness because that could be overwhelming. My wife ordered the RH and B chopped salad. It was tasty enough thanks to the ranch dressing, but the salad itself was nothing to be amazed by. I know it's just a salad, but when you present a salad as a meal and not a side, it has to be above all other dishes because it is essentially just lettuce, vegetables, and a protein. If anything, you must plate the salad better than just throwing it on a plate, and stacking meat on top. Offer a special dressing that accentuates the protein/veggie combination, and maybe a toasted baguette to add another food texture to the meal. And if you are placing raw carrots in the salad, please make sure they are cut to bite sized pieces, not just whole baby carrots thrown into the salad. But this is just me nitpicking. For desert, we had the peach cobbler. I definitely recommend this dessert to anyone eating at this restaurant. It was simply delicious, especially when served with vanilla ice cream. All in all, I really enjoy this restaurant. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants some good ol' bbq.“
“Took my mom tonight. The staff was absolutely lovely. So friendly and attentive. Food was great. Thank you because my mom hasn't been in since my dad passed away in August and she and he used to frequent this IHOP. Will definitely be back.“
“I’m visiting Maryland from Florida, and the weather is too cold for my kids. they have been crying wanting to go to a playground. I’m posting anyone else searching “McDonald’s playplace maryland” can find this location. ( The McDonald’s website doesn’t show the map of playplaces anymore). My son is so happy right now, so I’m really grateful they have this open. It is best for kids 4 and up. It goes very high so if your kid gets stuck it’s a challenge to haul them down. But otherwise it’s a good place.“
“The fries were good, warm and salty. The peanut butter milkshake was also good, though paper straws aren’t the best. My main complaint is that the system to order ahead is not very efficient. I always end up waiting anyway. If you’re in a rush, it won’t save you any time, so keep that in mind.“
“I had a really nice experience at McDonald's today! I don't eat out often and usually pick other restaurants when I do, but I had a hankering for a double quarter pounder with cheese. I got the seaonal pumpkin pie, too. Both were EXCEPTIONAL!!! Great service at this location as well! I am still getting the hang of the ordering kiosk. It's nice to be able to request no onions and extra pickles!!!Highly recommend!!!“
“Fresh food. Fast service. Everything was great, considering this is a newly opened spot. I would come here again. The funnel fries tasted like grease from everything....but burgers and fries were good! The apple pie was delicious. Good value for prices you pay. Staff could be more friendly.“
“One of the only drive thrus I have been through that hasn't had a nag taking the order. This gentleman listened to vocal cues and did not ask "anything else" "is that all" ect. It was extremely pleasant! The food, omg, it's hands down the best mcdonalds I have been to in a decade. My cheeseburgers were perfection, my fiances mccrispy was hot and yummy, the cookies were outstanding and the fries... the fries were the single best my fiance has ever had and some of the best I have ever had. Unlike most mcdonalds now they actually had salt on them!!I do not write reviews often but this was too good not to. Mad props to the late night crew for being polite helpful and fantastic at thier jobs!!!“
“I took my senior friends there for lunch.Surprisingly, they don't offer trays anymore, perhaps because of Covid, still. But it is inconvenient for Seniors holding food with shaky hands and limbs/lol, .i.e when eating in, dining in, whatever!Bring your own tray (BYOT)maybe???“
“Friendly service in the neighborhood favorite. Huge portions of delicious food, I have lamb skewers and my husband had the gyro platter, we both had leftovers for lunch the next day. Full bar, delicious margarita, southwest egg rolls, stuffed grape leaves and spiced olives were great apps. The home made baklava was a sweet end to a fabulous meal.“
