Cakes Plus never disappoints. The cake they made for my mom's 80th birthday was absolutely beautiful, almost too pretty to cut. It was very moist and delicious, too! Thanks again for making her special day beautiful and delicious!

I've been going to Cakes Plus for 30+ years now, but will never be back! I ordered and paid for in advance, a grooms cake for my son's wedding, to be picked up on my way to the airport for his wedding. Cakes Plus was fully aware that the cake would be picked up on the way to the airport and carried onto the plane as was arranged when the cake was ordered and paid for. When I got to CP, I found that they had no record of my order and had not made the cake! I found the charge to my credit card, and told them what was ordered. After much hemming and hawing, they finally offered a cake from the display, which was in no way what my son wanted for his wedding nor what I had ordered. After a great deal of frustration, yes, I was extremely angry with THEIR failure to provide my cake as ordered, the baker offered to make a NEW cake to the order specifications, but it would take three hours to do so. Because of THEIR error, with THEIR attempt to remedy, we would miss our flight, and have to change it, as I did since there was no other solution. The flight change resulted in an additional $600+. While they said in a letter to me that they had nothing to do with my flight change, nor did they ask me to change my flight, THEIR error caused me no option but to change my flight to accommodate THEIR error. Also, the cake was to be boxed in a manner that would fit under the seat in the airplane as was discussed when ordered. At no point did they instruct me to have the cake hand-checked by TSA, nor did they package it to fit under the seat as arranged. Needless to say, the cake was demolished in the TSA security belt and did NOT fit under the seat. The cake had to be scraped and completely redone by the restaurant hosting the wedding. While I received an attempt of an apology to my letter to the owner, I was told in their letter, that I created a "frightening experience" for their employees. Really, THEY lost my son's GROOM's CAKE order! Wouldn't you be angry??? They cost me to miss my flight and have to reschedule to accommodate THEIR fix. I encourage you to find a different bakery that may own up to their mistakes, and remedy them appropriately. Yes, we are all "human" as they pointed out in their letter to me and make mistakes, but they have an obligation to honor their service and make appropriate remedy. Run, don't walk to a different bakery!

The cake at this place is great but the Manager has the most disgusting attitude and is quite aggressive. Do better because you are tarnishing the brand. I almost cancelled my order!

This was my first time here and the cakes are delicious! But the most impressive about this experience was the customer service. I was greeted, walked through the process, given tons of samples and they even loaded the car for me so the cake that I ordered would transport safely.This place is almost 40 minutes away from where I live, but totally worth the trip! I will return often!!!

I’ve placed several orders from Cakes Plus and was pleased with my order. However, the order I placed recently on September 23rd, I was very disappointed in the outcome of the cake. The cake started to go bad the next day and by the third day it had a bad odor. I contacted Cakes Plus on Tuesday , September 26th and spoke with the manager Laura. Laura inquired about my contact information stating she will pull up my order and give me a call back in order for us to be on the same page. Its Monday, October 2nd and I still haven’t got a call back to address this matter. I am very disappointed and its sad how management did not care to give me a call back to address matter.Thank you Laura for reaching out to me today, October 6th. Sorry to hear you was not feeling well. Thanks for offering several options to resolve matter.
