I live the little events for holidays they do. Today they had a little buffet style brunch for Father’s Day and it was delightful and delicious. I got to speak to Simone one of the owners and she’s very loving, felt like we were a part of the family. Definitely can’t wait to make this place a regular spot for me and my family ;)
I went in and was treated like a king. The servers, staff and the owner are really nice and kind. The food was really awesome. Nice jerk chicken. Even bought some of their fried chicken and it was great as well. Highly recommend for food or just a chill spot to have some drinks and watch the game!!!
I had the callaloo platter. It came with callaloo which is a green veggie. Similar to collard greens. It came with rice and peas. It came with the sweet plantains. It came with cooked cabbage. We also added on a cassava patty which is called bammy (bah-ME). In addition, we ordered “Jamaican pockets” which are pastry shells filled with something.
