This place took forever to bring our food. The food is not that good at all. And they put the wrong prices on the check thinking we were not gonna realize… charged $30 for a small shot. And they gave us tap water. And included 20% tip that wasn’t deserved whatsoever. Dont come to this place!!!!!!!!

Oneyda mirna and Onel Mirrna really served us well will always come around .

The food was pretty bland all around. Service was slow, our server had a very limited understanding of the menu or of English. Two out of our 4 orders were incorrect , one of our drink orders was incorrect and we were double charged for a few things. Overall, not a good experience.

(LA FOGATA) I visited this place two months ago and everything was great, the tension and the food. I visited last week I thought it was always great and it wasn't I ordered New York steak and it had no flavor it had a lot of fat, the inside was dry we ordered chicken soup and it didn't taste good.
The service was bad we had to wait too long for our food we waited 35 minutes to eat and it was not busy

The drinks were amazing! The spicy margaritas had jalapeño infused tequila which was particularly stimulating. My food was also delicious and I completely cleaned my plate.

Very slow, unapologetic for the slowness and rude management staff. I went in to order, waited an hour after being quoted 30 minutes. Then asked for my money back, from a manager only for him to say sure and leave me standing there another 10 minutes as he comes out with my food. At that point I no longer wanted it off principle and just wanted to leave. I miss Chibal

Let’s make it clear- most of the reviews (until May 2024) were for a different restaurant in that location - ChiBal. It was really an amazing place with a nice limited menu where the food was always on point.
Now that it’s La Fogata, it’s just another place that will probably close down soon. The salsa felt like it was from a grocery store. The menu is very long. Why would Mexican place have fettuccine? ? The ceviche shrimp was ok but the white fish tasted rotten. The fajita was dry and not flavorful. I didn’t like anything besides the service which was fast. Wish ChiBal never closed!

Went here one day for date night. Nice atmosphere. Flautas so good with guacamole. OMG best fajitas mixed I’ve had. The shrimp omg so good. Steak and chicken great seasoning. I use to always want to go to Amigos out Laurel but now I’m wanting to come here. Chips and salsa can be a little better.

Came here for empanadas and flights of tequila and we enjoyed our appetizers and drinks!!! Definitely coming back to try more food!!!
