A rat ran through the lobby as I was waiting. I brought it up to their attention and they didn’t care.

I stumbled across this gem on the evening of the 4th of July. My mom was in the mood for seafood soup, and none of my main spots was open. So as I was at a stop light, I quickly googled the closest open spot, and China America Inn was the 1st in line. I didn't even know this place was a place! And it's close to home too!! It's not a party place, so table seating is limited, BUT the food is so good you will want to take it home and devour it in your own comfort where you can relax afterward. I ordered 2 seafood soups, general tso, and buffalo wings. The man who took my order was super nice and informative about other options available. My mom LOVES the seafood soup!! the general tso was fantastic, well cooked and not hard, just like I want it. The wings were very flavorful as well. Thank you for making my mom happy!! She is very picky about how her seafood soup looks and tastes. She said 10 out of 10!! This is our new spot!!

When I order online, they never give me the sauces. I asked for I ordered sweet-and-sour chicken never received the rice. The chicken had no taste no flavor no salt no pepper. Nothing the sauce was chunky. It was in the fridge. Not even warm the sauce look like Jell-O was horrible

I got the Wonton soup. Very flavorful broth. I ordered from Panda West too and China American Inn's was way better.

This restaurant was recommended to me by my local hotel. It occupies a small end storefront in a strip mall, across from a 7-11 store. Although it has two small tables, it is obviously structured as a carry out only place. In the 20 minutes I was there, probably 20 orders were picked up. The order taker let me know when ordering that they were very busy, and it would be around 25 minutes to get my order. That was an accurate estimate as my order was called at about 22 minutes after I placed it. I got the food back to my hotel; kung poa chicken, and an order of crab rangoon totaled a little over $20. I had asked for a small order of crab rangoon, but their small order is about 10 pieces! Although the crab rangoon tasted good, it was a bit overcooked and way too much wrap to filling ratio, which meant much uneaten (wasted) wrap. The kung poa chicken flavor was very good, and the ratio of vegetables acceptable, although a lot of carrots. The sauce was very thin and watery, although it was very well flavored/seasoned. I suspect it is hard to turn out hundreds of orders quickly in this environment, and have the time to cook/reduce the sauce to perfection. Rice was very fresh and serving size was generous on both entree and rice. I would eat here again.

I was new to the area and had no idea where anything was located. But I knew that this place was right around the corner. They would take my order (same thing : general Tsos chicken and white rice) within 10 mins before closing several times for me. I was so appreciative….considering they are often open late when everything else is closed. They tried to refuse a cash tip until I said I would never return if they didn’t accept it lol.

Which was a total lie. I would return regardless. Just writing this review is making me consider placing another order ? the foods great

Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions I wouldn’t recommend eating Chinese food.

Parking: Parking is limited because there’s so many little establishments but it’s not impossible to find a spot. You just need to pay close attention for one that’s available.

Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn’t want to eat Chinese food? I mean it’s not Chuck-E-Cheese so it’s not a restaurant equipped with a children’s play area. And it’s set up as a quick, come and go. But the food itself is kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: You can access the establishment via wheelchair

Guy on the register has no sort of respect and cries about giving one small hot oil even purchasing 2 fried rice and a soup. Honestly probably a family owned business and their strategy is to be cheap. The guy needs to get promoted. What a mood off, dry and disrespectful with no manners taught, just probably grown up to be a cashier there, get a life man. Never coming here again, going to get the department of health on this dirty establishment .
