I typically only leave reviews when I have a really good experience. This is different, it may be one of the first times I’m writing a review because something was so disgusting & inedible. The “sauce” was just oily & watery, with no flavor whatsoever. The “steak” (which I’m not even convinced it was steak, it may have been canned dog food) was tough, fatty & absolutely bland. The plantains were discolored & unappetizing. I couldn’t take more than 1 bite, the only thing on the plate that was half decent was the beans. That was disappointing because I couldn’t finish those either, since I could not stand to even look at that meat anymore. I had to take the whole plate directly to the trash can outside. Truly, I have never regretted spending $20 on food more than this in my life. The fact that the cook, whoever boxed it up, and possibly a manager all saw this and thought it looked good enough to serve to a customer is deeply disturbing. There are multiple other good Mexican restaurants in Laurel, save yourself the frustration and stick to those.

Food and service were both superb. The entrees and service charge were somewhat expensive but probably unavoidable these days.

Very good pupusas. Plantains were good as well. I got the fajita salad and it was lacking the guacamole and tortillas promised.
Horrendous service and food. Will never go back. I feel cheated out of the money I paid for dinner, took THREE AND A HALF HOURS to get food. When it arrived, it was flavorless and bland, way way over cooked, and terrible in every way. What a joke of a restaurant. Fried plantains were the only redeemable (edible) part of the whole order. It's not worth the nearly $60 I paid.

I have ordered the platano com crema, caldo de polo, huevos rancheros, queso birria and the good is amazing. It has a sensational cultural taste.
Server couldn't speak English. She communicated to me by way of phone text. Never returned to my table to ask me if I needed anything. Walked out of the restaurant to receive flowers from someone. Nevertheless I gave her a very very small tip. Environment was friendly at all not unless you were Spanish. None of the servers came over to my table to ask if I needed anything. They were preoccupied with other Spanish speaking people. Customer service really needs much improvement.
I would have Givin more but her lack..............?

Food was delicious. Waitress was very attentive. Music was a little loud but that’s because they were catering a party.

Food was aight. I’d get the Birra Tacos, they were good. They had the music up load as hell, you couldn’t even think or talk to the person you came with. The service was decent but we waited long as hell for the check. I do recommend to try it though. Just to experience the food.
I got the birria tacos and pupusas. The birria’s need a little seasoning and pupusas lacked pupusas. Although it was an experience.

Food didn't taste authentic. The corn tamale tasted like vomit and the tortilla used in the quesadilla was freezer burned. The shrimp in the fajita had tails on and not deveined. The waitress was the best. Oh yeah salsa not fresh. This place needs help from an abuela.

Authenticity at its finest is definitely a hidden Laurel gem. My favorite is the Chile cheese, you really can't go wrong with eating here.
