We were a group of five. We were greeted and seated quickly. Ordered steamed crabs that were full and seasoned just right. Highly recommend the cream of crab soup and hush puppies. Fantastic waitresses.
They only had inside tables that pretty much say 2-4 people, they prefer you make reservations which I can understand that way if more than 4 they could at least put tables together on the inside, the inside is really small, we had 6 people so we ate outside since we didn't have reservations and the inside was already full, however the flies outside were a little to much, the parking is difficult.. anyhow it was all to much, the crabs were good, the shrimp was bland but...
Came here spontaneously while looking at properties in the area. The restaurant was busy, but we were able to get seated in 10 minutes. I am a lover of seafood and Emmerts was exceptional! For the first time, I tried the soft shell crab sandwich and it was the best decision I made. I loved it! The sandwich was deep fried and crispy on the outside, yet sliced in half effortlessly without falling apart. I don't know how to explain it, but it was delicious! I will need to return...
