Don't waste your money or time. The cakes were extremely nasty and dry ! Four cake slices and only one was decent. They also never offered a refund despite us complaining. We are not from around here but even if we were we would not be back. If you want to risk it, the chocolate cake was the decent one, we spat out every other cake.

I placed an online order and half of my order was not even in stock. My fruit tea had no fruit in it. The latte was ok. I asked for my spinach croissants to be heated up and was told that they are still warm because they just came out of the oven, but they were room temperature. I try my best to support local businesses, but after comming here I regretted not having gone to Starbucks.

It has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I ordered a cake 3 weeks before my daughter's birthday and I went to pick it up and it hadn't even been delivered. I had to wait 4 and a half hours for it to be delivered since I had paid for it. With a lot of anticipation, the cake definitely showed that it was made at the last minute with several defects. The taste was good, but I will never return to this place that I used to go to for several birthdays, one less customer.

I was in town for the funeral for my aunt. After the service my cousin was hosting a "dessert bar" as my aunt had a serious sweet tooth! After using Google to locate all the bakeries in the area I choose this one based on prior reviews and the photos! Although the bakery is small there was a good selection of different cakes to choose from. I choose a small cake that was Marble (white and chocolate cake) with a mousse filling and white chocolate frosting with white and dark chocolate flakes on top. The nice young lady even asked if I wanted something written on the cake which I declined (not sure what I'd put for this occasion). I was a little nervous and didn't have many expectations on what the cake would taste like. I bake a lot and know that many cakes purchased can be dry and have little to no flavor. This cake was DELICIOUS! it was soft, good texture and a creamy filling! Several people complimented me on the purchase. My only regret is that I didn't buy the larger one! Thanks for the great cake!

I purchased a birthday cake from Flowers Bakery in Laurel. I asked that the cake have "Maxine Happy 70th Birthday Hallelujah" written on the top. The cake was decorated beautifully, but the writing was on the cardboard platter, not on the cake, did not include my name and Hallelujah was badly misspelled. I pointed this out when I picked it up and asked for a discount. The clerk offered $3 on a $140 cake. When we served the cake, it was very dry. I called the owner the next day. She offered nothing--no refund nor even an apology--except that the cake was dry because it had buttercream frosting.

This is located across from the 7-11 in Laurel in a weird, neglected shopping center with very little fanfare or attention or decor. The interior is small but has a great array of cakes, cupcakes, pastries, donuts, and other baked goods. The customer service was lackadaisical and off-putting, like I was bothering the employee for asking relevant questions about their items.I ordered two slices of cake to go, a grand marnier and a milk chocolate/white chocolate mix. They both tasted dry, unflavorful, and frankly not worth the $5.99 each. Boxed Duncan Hines cakes are better than this; truly a disappointing experience. I was so excited to try them because they looked incredibly delicious and well presented in the bakery! However, I will likely not return.

I order 8" cakes from Flowers pretty regularly for birthdays at my office. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, they always get my order right, and the cakes are a big hit with everyone who tries them. Personally, I also like the milk teas, iced coffee, assorted cookies, pain au chocolat, and some of the panderia treats. Overall, this is a great local gem. Definitely check them out.

Just got here, says they open at 10am. Its 10:11am and I saw 2 people just walk in. They locked the door behind them. I drove here from Landover, MD because of the reviews, disappointed.

Customer service was trash. I was willing to be a committed customer to this establishment, but they have awful employee. She seemed very much so insecure about her job and her own personal issues. Please avoid going to this establishment you’re wasting your time.
