Food was delicious, server was new but attentive. Cook was great. Cleaning lady stood at our table while we ate waiting for us to leave. She stood in the grill area 10 min after the cook finished cooking.

We were seated immediately but our server was sporadic and inattentive. We had to sometimes get up to go get someone to assist us. We thought maybe he was new. Less than a week later I get a bank notification that I was charged double and I should reach out to the restaurant. I contacted the restaurant and she told me it wasn't their error it was my bank. She suggested I wait a month to get another bank statement so the bank could fix it. I won't return and don't recommend this restaurant.

Kabu has a great happy hour and some really solid sushi rolls! We tried the rainbow roll, spicy tuna, and orange roll—all fresh, flavorful, and generously sized. The pan-fried gyoza was also delicious. The only miss for me was the crab Rangoon—the filling was tasty, but the dough was over-fried and still a bit raw in the middle, almost like it had two layers.
Drinks during happy hour were great, though my lychee martini took about 25 minutes to arrive (not exaggerating). To their credit, the staff noticed and kindly comped it, which I appreciated.
Overall, I think Kabu is a fun spot with a strong happy hour and good food, with just a couple of areas that could be improved.

Food was great, drinks were good. My cook was nice not as entertaining as other cooks but he was still nice. Would go back!

Within our family, we had the chicken, shrimp and steak hibachi meals. The food was pretty bland and under seasoned. Nothing from the service atmosphere stood out, making then basically forgettable.

$20 for a plate full of 4 different sushi dishes during their happy hour.
Godzilla rolls 5/5: This is by far the best it’s a umami flavor with a fried twist on traditional sushi. I keep coming back.
Shrimp Tempura 4/5: solid it tastes fresh and has a nice crunch. The fundamentals are all there it is very good.

Arrived to the location it took a while before being noticed and seated for my order.
Order the rice and chicken with a drink. And a salad.
Sauce for the chicken was cold, waitress brought out some hot ones

It’s a long wait time to the chef come to the table, we came a 7:00 pm, and they came 2 hours and half after, this is insane, it’s to much, and just a few personal

The salmon on sushi here is so fresh! Rarely have I been that impressed by the freshness of fish at a sushi place.

This was just the chicken on my sons hibachi order. It has great food and good portion size. We go here all the time its a good spot. Has nice bar also.
Wish they would limit peoples use of cell phones to watch loud videos and talk on speakerphone while at the communal hibachi table. Ya'll know who I'm talking about. They ruin the experience. The girl next to us last time would not even acknowledge the chef as he was trying to confirm her order while she was on her speakerphone call.
