Terrible experience! Prices have gone up, but the portions have gotten much smaller. I was shocked when I got home and opened the containers, it looked nothing like it used to. The customer service was awful; the staff seemed annoyed and took my order with an attitude. The food quality has really gone downhill. I ordered a large, but it looked more like a small. The first picture is after I removed the meat. Definitely never coming back.

They are the worst and not reliable. If you place an order ahead of time and even pay for it. When you show up to pick up your order, they will tell you it has finished. They do not deserve to still be operating with how much terrible service they provide. And the food is nothing to even write home about. I do not recommend. Just a bunch of disappointment.

This food was soooo disgusting. I am so disappointed. My husband is Nigerian and normally cooks at home. Considering he was sick I ordered this food for him. I wasted my $60 I wish I never ordered anything. The “egusi” as they call it was not egusi. It was spinach and tomato with turkey skins and goat. I didn’t even ask for turkey. Disgusting and flavorless. The meat pie was was flavor less and the suya was so spicy my child who eats pepper was crying. Not to mention how old and nasty the hallow and white rice was. It has to have been sitting in a pot for days. The food is small portioned and expensive. Please don’t waste your time. My kids can cook better than this.

The tripe was hard..need more cooking. Almost broke my teeth out. And the okra soup was tasteless. Too slimy, no seasoning at all. Im not one to complain, but this didn't excite me..sorry!

I love kingsway. The food is amazing. I have been coming here for years ! Unfortunately I decided to leave this review because it seems as though my online orders are never ready when I arrive regardless of if I hit the pay at restaurant button or pay online. & when I get to the store im always told the receipt didn't print, the receipt is then printed on the spot and its basically like im waiting In line all over. Today I ordered to pick up my food at 12 and I waited 30 minutes for my food which was an online order. While other customers came in , ordered and received there food before me. I dont appreciate the service qualities. Online orders should be ready when a customer walks in & stop giving the same excuse about receipts not printing. You guys know you get multiple online orders that need to be printed.

What happens when you are mediocre in a place of below average? You shine, so for a lack of decent west african(Nigerian) spots that sell everyday food items that remind the diaspora of home—this place has become a hot spot! But buyer beware, be sure not to come hungry to eat for you will be forced into involuntary fasting! Praying for the food you paid for to come! Ordering quick grabs like pies or puff puff expect no less than 20mins on a weekend. No sense of urgency whatsoever.
Everything was awesome and I’ve already gone back to this establishment. Their prices are also better than most African restaurants that’s I’ve experienced. Tell them Wanda from Google referred you for $5% off your total meal.

Nothing is worse than when you have your mouth ready for something and you get it home and it’s not tasty at all. I had the jollof and cassava leaf and it was awful. Way too smoky way too salty. The food smelled and tasted like cigarette butts. I kid you not. The cassava leaf was soupy not a stew the meat was tough. It just was not good and was so disappointing. I spent $45 and had to throw it all away because I couldn’t even eat it. It tasted so bad. And for this food to be so expensive, they really need to work on the quality of the food.
