There are 2 locations and the original has sweet people working, even on hectic days they keep a good attitude. I love getting their sweet breads, tamales pan frances and of course cakes for special occasions. Today is my son's birthday so we went for the chocolate flavored cake that has fruit on top and since it had cherries his favorite that's the one for today. My family have been enjoying their treats for over 15 years and as long as their still around that's our number one choice. 2nd location is nearer to my house and I finally tried their food. I will say those pupusas were the best I've had since the motherland. Macaroni salad and carne guisado is heavenly. Now those are my taste buds but I do recommend you go. Near Route 1 near the flea market Do it, im a foodie 😋

I just had an incident with a driver of the bakery's official bus. He identified himself as a supervisor. I was inside my vehicle in the parking lot when it opened the door and hit my car. When I confronted him he said it wasn't his fault and became aggressive. It is inappropriate behavior now I have damage to my car door and I will file a police report.

🌟 Rich, tasty and economical 😋🍞 I just moved to Maryland from New York, and this was my first experience buying bread here. What a pleasant surprise to discover the La Espiga de Oro bakery! Their bread is delicious, of excellent quality and at incredible prices. 🥖✨ Now I am clear that I will buy my daily bread here. I recommend this place 100% for its taste and quality! ✅👏

I was disappointed in this place because they recommended it to me the first time I went I ordered 2 cakes for a week but on a different date I ordered 3 leches that was not tres leches when I brought the first cake the next day I called to tell them that the other cake is still there please They make sure it was tres leches because such a dry bread is Reeeeeseco nothing like a 3 leches And the staff sucks!!!

Irresponsible people work in this place! On Saturday, September 21, we called to order a birthday cake and the girl who answered recommended the tres leche and asked how moist we wanted the cake, so we selected the Super Moist (that was the word she used ) and she proceeded to do the payment process and after collecting the money she gave us some time to pick up the cake. The person went to get the cake and another girl was there and she said that she didn't have any order for super moist tres leches and most likely the girl from the other shift took the order. The most normal thing is that she would have done something at the time because the cake was already paid for! and she didn't want to do anything and with an arrogant attitude. They called the girl and had to speak clearly to her because they collected the money. In the end, she placed the order. On the night when the cake was broken, it didn't even look like three milks. it was super dry What a shame that you paid for a tres leches and they ended up with that. Definitely don't buy tres leches at this place.

Well, I just want to give you a suggestion that those who prepare the bread, be more careful in the preparation, since my daughter got eggshells in the bread and she was not small, it is disgusting to find something that is supposed to be just possible food was an accident.

I ordered a 3 teared cake for my daughter’s wedding celebration. The cake was made exactly how I wanted and it came out perfect after I added the custom made topping that I made for it. The cake was so delicious many guests ask where it was purchased and were very pleased and satisfied. Delivery was excellent and the cake was intact. I definitely recommend

It was packed with people when I went around dinner time.
I got a flan and a tres leches cake. The flan was kinda salty I’d give it a 3/10. But the size was good. Tres leches was alright I’d give it a 6.5/10, some of the fruits on it were super tangy.
Maybe I’ll come back if I’m in the area again but wouldn’t go out of my way though.
