Yesterday evening I last minute decided to go to this establishment a little too late not paying attention to their closing time. It is very rare that when you see a business closing that the people inside will pay you any mind. I would have been over excited if they had payed me attention and nothing else. The person at the desk not only acknowledged me but proceeded to ring up my order (which he didn’t have to do) beyond their closing hours. I think we all know what we go to this established for at this point but this person went above and beyond and helped me to walk away from here with a feeling that is rare in this day and age. I wish I knew his name but his attention to detail and customer service spoke volumes and left an impression. ✨

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Nothing Bundt Cakes location in Laurel — the customer service was truly exceptional! From the moment we walked in, we were met with kindness and genuine care, but Branden in particular went above and beyond in a way that deserves special recognition.

We had ordered a beautiful two-tiered cake for my uncle’s 68th birthday — he absolutely adores Nothing Bundt Cakes — but when we arrived, we realized transporting it might be difficult. Without hesitation, Branden graciously took the cake back, carefully separated the tiers into two boxes for safer travel, and then came back to personally explain how to reassemble them once we arrived. It was such a small act of thoughtfulness, yet it made all the difference.

His patience, professionalism, and warmth turned what could have been a stressful moment into a truly uplifting experience. It’s rare these days to encounter that level of genuine customer care. Because of Branden and the way he handled everything with such grace, Nothing Bundt Cakes in Laurel has earned my loyalty for every celebration to come.

I was greeted when I entered the bakery, and thanked after my purchase. Jailon was very pleasant. I purchased a Red Velvet and a Chocolate Chocolate Chip as both an incentive and a reward for my daughter completing her mid terms.

Terrible customer service.

These cakes in any size are always delicious and amazing! The customer service is always top tier. The only statement I have is I tried the new banana pudding cake and didn’t taste much of the banana flavor, but the cake was amazing and moist! The addition of the Nilla wafers was such a treat and compliments the cake great!

Dear Nothing Bundt Cakes Team,

I am a regular customer at your Laurel, Maryland location and truly enjoy your cakes. However, I wanted to share two suggestions that I believe would greatly improve the customer experience:

Availability of Utensils:
It can be frustrating to receive a delicious Bundtlet or slice and not be able to enjoy it immediately because there are no forks or utensils provided at the store. Having individually wrapped forks or utensils available upon request (or automatically included with certain purchases) would be a great customer-friendly addition.

Employee Tips:
I’ve also noticed there’s no option to leave a tip. The staff at this location is consistently kind and helpful, and I’d appreciate the opportunity to show my gratitude through tipping, whether digitally or with a physical tip jar.

If you like simple, moist, and super tasty cakes with irresistible creamy light frosting, you will LOVE these cakes! Just know that you wont be able to take just a few bites. Today I wanted to write about the excellent customer service. My mom ordered a cake for my sons birthday and had it delivered. There was slight mistake made by the driver during the delivery process. When I called, the team went out of their way to immediately resolve the issue. Jailon and Katy stepped up to ensure they made thigs right. Thank you!

I ordered and had delivered from Nothing Bundt Cake in Laurel for the first time for my son’s bday. The cakes were as beautiful and moistly delicious as the first time I tasted them from another franchisee.

I think the real test of a vendor and a review are what happens if something goes wrong? We had a little hiccup in our delivery that only half the order was delivered. I was not able to catch the driver in time and called the store. I spoke with a lovely employee named Katie who with no hassle had the second half delivered very quickly (and they tipped the driver.)

I never will never shop there again! I ordered a birthday cake. It was so plain no decoration just a plastic flower sticking in the middle of the cake for thirty three dollars! The day I went to pick it up I cancel it, asked for a refund. I was told they do not give refund, but the receipt does not state that.. I will never spent my money there! Oh yet since the manager/supervisor did not refund me my money. Call my bank and dispute that charge and got my money back!
