Came here last Friday and I was genuinely excited to try this place. Came in at about 2:30 and ordered the fried tilapia with the jollof rice. I saw it on the lunch menu for 26$ but I understand that was for lunch specials so I wasn’t expecting this price. However, to my surprise the bill came to 48$ for this meal. No sides, just rice and fish. The food was seasoned & cooked well but unfortunately I feel scammed with these prices and will not be returning. No where on the menu does it say this is a 48$ meal nor was it explained. Service was definitely lacking. Food was tasty but cannot recommend due to prices and service.

The food was excellent. If you are from Cameroon and looking for authentic, well prepared dishes, this is the place. The achu and burning fish were especially good, and the quality of the food truly feels like home.

This is literally the best West African Restaurant in DMV. The portions are huge. Authentic, just like mom’s cooking. Definitely going back . Customer service was impeccable.

The food was delicious!
Everybody working was very attentive. Even made sure that one of our dishes only had fish. The drinks were good, too. I had the Tom Collin's and the Long Island and both were...effective, if you know what I mean. I will come again.

What a great find in Laurel, MD! Tucked off the main road they have created a little haven of modern African culture in a strip mall. Comfortable seating, great clean decor, attentive staff reasonable, wait time for high quality freshly prepared super flavorful foods from an eclectic menu. Great Friday specials dishes from Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria and more. Good drink menu as well.

The owner came out to check with us and touched base with other guests as well. I felt like a guest!
