I’ve always loved the coffee here—it’s rich and flavorful, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Unfortunately, my last visit left me disappointed. While waiting for my coffee, I noticed the owner struggling with groceries. I opened the door to help, and was taken aback by his response: “I don’t need your help; I work here.” My friend, standing next to me, remarked, “At least you could say thank you!” to which he replied, “I don’t need to thank her for that!” This ungracious response was surprising, especially from someone in a community-focused role. I've always supported independent businesses, often placing large orders despite higher prices. However, this interaction changed my perspective. While I appreciate the owner’s wife, I found his behavior troubling, especially given his role as a pastor. I look forward to new coffee shops opening in Laurel, as I believe kindness should accompany good service.

I wish I lived in the state because I would have this coffee five times a day. It’s in such a little town. It’s super cute. The town is definitely walkable. I would recommend grabbing a coffee and walking around a bit to explore. But maybe you should grab two coffees because their coffees are so great! They don’t have too many flavor options I think it’s because they know how phenomenal their coffee beans are. They do latte art here which is super fun as well. But their coffee is so smooth. It’s just the perfect warm bottle of joy.

This establishment knows how to make espresso beverages. The craftsmanship of the beverages I have gotten here have always been perfect. It is also a huge bonus they use La Colombe coffee.

The espresso is not espresso. It was thin, a bit fruity, too watery, and had no crema. Similarly, the so-called flat white was watery and lacked rich coffee taste. Unfortunately, like so many coffee shops across the US, and especially around Baltimore, the staff have never tasted authentic espresso and don't know what they're doing and/or use poor ingredients and/or technique. Please go to Italy and spend some time understanding what you are trying to sell.

Stopped in after hearing good things, and I’m glad I did. I got a cappuccino — to be honest, it didn’t look so great when it first came out, so I wasn’t expecting much. But once I took a sip, the flavor was better than I thought. The foam was looser than I like, and the strength felt somewhere between a cappuccino and a latte, so it left me a little wanting. No latte art either, but that didn’t really bother me. Still, it was easy to drink and not bad overall. I’d like to try a different coffee next time.
The ceramic mug was a nice touch, and the place felt cozy and relaxed, with soft music and no loud noise. There’s more seating downstairs too, which makes it a good spot to chill or get some work done. Altogether, it felt like a real local gem.

Ragamuffins is a must stop in coffee shop located in a super cute town just a few minutes off of 95. The coffee was excellent, the environment was welcoming and the staff were very friendly. Overall would rate my experience 10/10. Bonus they make their syrups homemade so they aren’t full of additives or tons of sugar!
