I had a reward on the app and every other time at every other Rita’s I’ve been to, they would take the price of the small gelati (whats offered as a reward) off of what they charge me for a large. These employees couldn’t be bothered to take a minute to figure it out. They’ve never heard of it so they won’t even try to help….

I love the fact that this location is open all year round . The service is always good and theirs never a long wait . The place is always clean and quiet . My favorite is a peach gelati with vanilla custards … ? parking is a little right but available .Definitely would comeback .

Rita's is a classic. We always stop by whenever we can since this location is so close to us and gave always had no issues with ordering or wait. I have also ordered online via door dash and it always went smoothly. Definitely stop by if you're in the area and craving some frozen custard goodness.

Went to Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard located at 3353 Laurel Fort Meade Road, Suite 100, Laurel, Maryland today. Was greeted with a piss-poor attitude, and placed an order for four quarts of the Italian Ice. Noticed that the package seemed to be nosey, upon reaching my office with the quarts of Italian Ice. One was only filled to approximately halfway with clomps of ice and the other was filled to maybe two-thirds of the container limit. Julie W. as the owner and operator of this Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard location please note that each customer paying $8 for a quart of frozen artificial enhanced colored water should receive a "Full Container"!

I have attempted to purchase ice from this location three times. I love Rita's, and since recently moving back to Maryland I have wanted them on multiple occasions. I joined this locations Cool Alerts, where it notifies you when your favorite flavor is available. The first time I went I was told the flavor I wanted wouldn't be available for another 20-30 minutes, even though it was listed on their website. The second time I was told they didn't have the flavor at all, even though the website once again emailed me about the flavor. And this last time, no one was in the store but a guy sitting and eating food at the table. No worker was anywhere to be found, they were either hiding in the back, or had left the store completely unattended. I will no longer attempt to give any business to this establishment.

Place has no flavors and has nothing. When I asked for anything they’d just look and say we don’t have that. Then when you ask “what do you have” and they say “we don’t have anything” then why make me ask for different flavors? They just went back to chatting. This is one of those places where people get paid to stand around and talk and not do any work. Don’t waste your time.

How do you screw up Rita's? Our family loves Rita's, so we came by this store in Laurel after the first day of school. Our visit became a test of patience, they were out of peanut butter cups (how do you run out of peanut butter cups?) then their peach custard wasn't working, and their twists weren't working, and they didn't have waffle cones. We had to ask them what they actually had so that we could get something.Then there was the service, the two employees seemed uninterested in serving us, and considering the amount of items that they were out of, they made no effort to provide us with alternatives. We asked them to make us a small cup only half full for our 20 month old, they just made it the regular size. I asked for a strawberry concrete with brownie bites and they made it with cookie dough. And it was just easier to eat the gross concoction than to deal with them any longer.We are going to continue to go to Rita's, just not this one.
Rita's is amazing! I love their cotton candy ice and their vanilla custard.

The store closes at 10 p.m. on Saturday, but the ice cream machine allegedly shuts down automatically at 9:30.

We went yesterday and felt so uncomfortable we threw our orders in the trash after leaving and went to Sweet Frog. We came here once before and had a pleasant experience. After our experience yesterday we will not be returning. We walk in to a lady at the counter that looked like she didn't want to be there and didn't speak. After placing our order 2 employees came out the back and it was sooooo disorganized and the prep did not look sanitary at all.
