Shah’s Halal Food

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever seen at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the staff acted like they didn’t care at all. We were ignored, spoken to with attitude, and treated as if we were bothering them just by being there. The service was extremely slow, no one checked on us, and simple requests were met with frustration. The food might have been okay, but the terrible customer service ruined the entire visit. I will definitely not be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They seriously need to retrain their staff and learn basic respect for customers.

I went to a Friendsgiving Saturday November 15, 2025 and everyone that was invited had to bring catering. And let me tell you, man did I I hit a home run with Shah’s Halal Food! 💯🗣️😋 the food was delicious and it was gone within an hour lol I ordered chicken, lamb, rice and veggies the very same day and the manager was caught off guard when I told him that I needed within a couple of hours lol the manager and his staff very friendly and professional, even gave me extra sauces and gave me a free soda 👍🏽👌🏽 I truly thank these guys and would recommend them to anyone for any catering service, thanks again Shah’s Halal, until next time 🤛🏽👊🏽

We stopped by SHAHS HALAL in Laurel and everything was amazing! We had the fish gyro and the falafel gyro with fries — all of it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The owner was so kind and even gave me a portion of lamb with tzatziki sauce and cilantro, which was absolutely delicious! You can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite. Great food, generous portions, and friendly service, we’ll definitely be back!

I called repeatedly to order food, they did not pick up the phone. I called almost at 12:00 before leaving the house so that I could order food and pick up my food in peace. Then when I came here at 11:45 am, I told them that I want another platter, they told me that we have to close, we cannot make it. This is not good. If the store's time is 12:00, then it should close at 12:00, no matter why the customer came to the store at 11:55 pm
