We ordered numerous times with consistent service and quality. We ordered the salmon dinner with white rice & gravy, and cabbage. The second dinner was a fried chicken dinner with 2 sides. Most recently we ordered 8 whole wings fried hard multiple times and they have been consistent. I highly recommend the mumbo sauce with them!

Me and my husband just found this gem — Soul Boat — and we are blown away! The food is crazy delicious, the portions are super generous, and the prices are unbelievably good. You can really taste the love in every bite. The food is so good, I haven’t even made it to the seafood yet — and I already can’t wait to go back! Definitely our new go-to spot. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing soul food done right.

My husband and I tried this while at an Airbnb and this food was absolutely delicious! We got it delivered through Door Dash . We had Whiting, fried wings, Jumbo fried shrimp , Mac and cheese, Fries, green beans, and collard greens. I really enjoyed the food, so did my husband! I appreciate that they were open late and participated with Door Dash! They went above and beyond with the bag they put it in. It was very sturdy and kept it hot! Great containers too! The prices were good and the portions were big and amount of food for your money was great! I wish I lived near this restaurant or actually that they had one here in Shenandoah Valley Virginia.

Before I give my revie, I'm going to state a hard truth. This Soul Boat has a 3.8 rating because a lot of people were taken back by the ethnicities of the people cooking SOUL food. My first time here was during the Pandemic and I also felt bamboozled. With that said, I have rarely had a bad meal here. I've ordered everything from pork chops, turkey, whiting. Today I ordered honey lemon pepper wings and a large potato salad. The wings needed more lemon pepper, but it was very delicious. Hopefully more people updating their reviews and give this place a fair shot. Hard working, friendly employees that cook good food.

The food was good. I had seafood broil. It was pretty tasty. The Cat fish was not to my liking but my husband enjoyed it. The chicken wings are delicious. The atmosphere could be a bit cleaner especially the restroom. Especially since you can dine in. But otherwise everything was decent.

I ordered the whiting chicken combo with cornbread and 2 sides. Are you at home instead of waiting I have tilapia bit into my cornbread and there was hair in it. Couldn't finish my dinner.
I order Christmas Eve chicken and Fish for my family . Got to Baltimore to my family the food was cooked in old grease the chicken was dark brown and the fish was soggy greased. I called this location back and let them know. They refused to give me a refund after spending $40 on this trash. I’m hours away they asked me to bring back … how I wouldn’t call if it was made correctly. I come here often but after today never again. Completely DISGUSTING

Loved the variety menu selections from soul food sea food asian food and welcoming dining. I had the pork chops rice and brown gravy collards sweet and potatoe pie. We are from NC felt just like home cooking. Check it out I promise you will not be disappointed.
