Server was very nice but the food was disappointing. My quesadilla was made with cheddar cheese and there was barely anything on it. And no salsa

It doesn’t taste good. Flavor is on the lower end of mid. Staff was friendly tho. Restaurant could use a renovation. Wood paneling looks to be from 50 years ago. Price was okay. We paid around $20 for 2 tacos and a burrito. It wasn’t a lot of food. Expected better flavor for the price.

I have gone here many times over last 20+years. It has changed…. you get a taco, one hunk of a tomato and barely any lettuce. Not to mention the shells get smaller and smaller. You get a basket full of broken stale chips. Not worth going back anymore! Things definitely have changed!

Small place and rustic! This is the best place for tacos. I ride from Southern Maryland when I need a great taco fix!!

If any of you remember, Terrapin Taco in College Park, this is the same food served in the same style. Great! Guacamole sunken burrito wonderful inexpensive tacos brought back a lot of memories! Also. The service here is excellent. I sat at a table and didn't have to wait for a thing! It's an older building but they keep it clean and is a fun experience.

The chili and sunken burrito were delicious!

Been eating here for 46 yrs ( since Tippys Taco). What happened? Tacos with no cheese, two small pieces of lettuce, and one small slice of tomato. Not sure what’s happened, maybe that’s why I only saw three people at noon on a weekday. Used to be large lunch hour crowd. ☹️

I have to unfortunately leave an unfavorable review. I’ve been dining/carryout from Tippy’s/Toucan Taco for over 30 years. Traveled today to get queso for the games this weekend and what a disappointment! They’ve obviously changed their recipe. Their queso was once very thick and chunky, yet today the queso was almost like water. For a business that once had the best queso in Maryland, I’m sad to see that they’ve cheapened the product.

The sunken burritos deserve a try at least once. Plus the seasoning mix used is great.

Simply put great food, interesting spot. Has not really changed in my lifetime. But I like the consistency.
