Highest price for smoothies in the area. More by $1.10 base price. Add ins are .30 more rhan others. Summer2025. Franchises are different and so are rents. For consumers, guess it’s a matter of how far one wants to drive. Shrug.

The owner’s son used to make the best smoothies when he worked here — they were naturally sweet and full of flavor. Now, the smoothies taste bland, lack sweetness, and are overpriced the price went up by 2 dollars. On top of that, they charge extra just to make a smoothie taste like it should in the first place. There’s no flavor, no value, and no reason to come back. 0/10. Save your money and head to Smoothie King up the road.

What kind of restaurant charges for a cup of water. This is a smoothie place the least you can offer is cup of water. I spent over $30 and tipped $5 just to get refused for a cup of water. Sure they gave me a fancy cup but I just need water, any regular plastic cup is okay. Owners if you ever read this, do not ask me to share more details on some webpage. Also not looking for your lies either “we strive for excellence” just like you guys have commented on other reviews. Just odder some cheap cup next time when you order inventory and please start offering service not just “sell whatever you can”

The picture here on Google is deceptive as I looked for a free-standing Tropical Smoothie Cafe but its in a commercial row of storefronts. Rode past it and had to call the store to find it.

I ordered 4 smoothies and immediately noticed one tasted chalky and just off. I politely asked to return or exchange it, especially after tipping \\$6, but was told they couldn't do anything. No apology, no discount, no offer to make it right just a flat refusal. My husband had to buy a whole new smoothie at full price. The staff showed zero empathy and were not pleasant at all. Terrible customer service and no sense of customer satisfaction. Places like this do not deserve our support. I won’t be returning.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. This location is simply not worth your time and energy. I use the app to either pick up from them or get it delivered, either way something is either wrong or missing. Just today, I got 4 pair & saves delivered. All I was missing was 1 sandwich. So I called the place and asked if I could just swing by to get it. The girl that answered the phone said she had to check with her manager to see if I could. I thought that was strange but whatever. She gets back on the phone and tells me that the girl that made my order made sure that she made two of those sandwiches and put it in my bag, and they have video footage of this (I call bs on that) she literally had me on the phone and I could hear her talking in the back. They didn't check any camera footage in 2 minutes. And I doubt she even spoke to the manager. She says that the door dasher probably took my sandwich. I told her that I was still out a sandwich and I would like to get another one. She says that they aren't going to make another one and that this is on doordash. Door dash isn't going to resolve anything that wasn't bought through their app, I definitely bought this $80 order through the Tropical Smoothie app. She was incredibly rude and was acting like I was out of luck. What's funny about this is that I saw the dasher drop it off at my door and I didn't see him take anything. He could've taken it out while he was still in the car, but I doubt it because this location is so infamous for this missing items nonsense at this point. I didnt realize this when I first called, but they also gave me an extra Kale Apple slaw. Luckily I found the customer service complaint line and was able to get a refund for this mess.
Don't go to this Tropical Smoothie in Laurel, MD. They are rude af and don't correct their own errors. They've even cancelled a delivery order for me in the past but still charged me for it! I had to go through my bank to get my money back because they claimed they never got the order.

I love this place. Best Acai bowl in my opinion and I love the smoothies. I always add fat burner and ginger to mine and perfect! I only go to the Laurel location and they have always been nice and respectful.

The worst peanut butter flatbread EVER! This location is hit or miss and it's annoying. There is NO PEANUT BUTTER on this flat bread, who cuts bananas in big chunks like this with small,slices mixed in,and all the brown you see is honey; except for the browning banana. DO BETTER.
The jerk chicken burrito was very dry and it lacked flavor.
