Today was my first time ordering the MIXED BERRY GREEK YOGURT. Please keep in mind the yogurt is unsweetened, so if you want it sweetened, ask for extra honey. To me, $10.48 for size and being that there is nothing special about it, I'd rather get the MIXED BERRY GREEK YOGURT at Panera Bread; much tastier. If you're a health nut and not big on sweets, this one is for you. I still love this place but this was a miss for me. For this review I had to give it a low score.

This location is a SCAM. They are trying to make extra money. I go to various tropical smoothie locations, in both Maryland and Virginia, this is the first location where I have had to pay $1.69 to add ginger and $1.19 for Mango. When I asked the gentleman why it was so high, he informed me that it was like that everywhere. I informed him that statement wasn’t true, and that I go to various locations. He then proceeded to tell me it was a corporate price… I went online and displayed that virtually every other location charges $0.99 to add mango or ginger. He then laughed and said “that’s not true.” The lady that makes the food then handed me the poorest presented quesadillas that I have ever had at any tropical smoothie… it also had about 4 or 5 pieces of chicken within all 3 pieces.This location is just getting worse and worse, AND they are money hungry without matching the quality.

Usually the service here is good and my order is completed promptly. Today, the young lady at the counter was unfriendly and forgot about our order. We waited almost 40 minutes and we had to remind them on 3 different occasions that we were still waiting on our daughter's smoothie. I'm pretty disappointed. I went out of my way to visit this location but next time I'll stick to another location. There wasn't even an apology.

I have no idea what the lady behind the counter’s problem is but she ALWAYS has an attitude when she’s the one who always gets the order wrong. Both times I’ve been here I’ve paid for extra tomato salsa and she always has an issue giving it to us. Today, we got 3 extra salsas on top of the 2 that already come with the the quesadillas we ordered. I told her she owes us 2 more and she didn’t believe us when I literally paid for the extra salsa. This is the 2nd time she’s done this. Like look I know it costs extra that’s why I asked for it at the counter don’t have an attitude when I ask for what I paid for. I also ordered doordash from here once and paid for extra salsa and it wasn’t anywhere to be found im sure the same lady was working since clearly she acts like she can’t give out salsa THAT WE PAID FOR!!!!

Been living in the area about 3 years and the smoothies been better before. Recently the smoothies been water down. Maybe too much ice, maybe less fruit. Food is always cool. Service is good as well.

First, this was the second time we ordered here, via Grubhub. We thought that the food would change, it didnt. We ordered 2 smoothies: Island Green Smoothie and Peanut Paradise, a wrap, and a 3 cheese chicken quesadilla. The Island Green Smoothie was just horrendous. Were not sure what the person put in it, but it didnt taste like the one we ordered previously from the Columbia location. The other item, the 3 cheese chicken quesadilla, I wouldnt even call it a quesadilla. It was 2 pieces of paper with a scent of check blown between it. There was maybe a smattering of cheese through the tortilla and 3 pieces of chicken TOTAL. It was then pressed completely flat, cut in three, the wrapped. Not even put in the to go boxes like other locations, just a paper wrapper. The side, the sweet potatoes, was scantly filled, living the container half empty. We will never order from this location again and dont recommend it via the apps. Go to the Columbia location instead.

Ordered an Avocolada smoothie...its chunky, not blended well. I shouldn't be chewing on spinach.

This place is a hit or miss. The staff is almost always rude. I hate that I have to speak to them before they speak to me and welcome me as a paying customer. I stopped visiting here a lot due to the lack of hospitality. The smoothies are hit or miss depends on who is working and making them…

I love Tropical Smoothie just not his location. The Laurel location is horrible. The young ladies that work here literally ignore you when you walk in, you stand until they decide to acknowledge you, they do not speak, rude, unprofessional and simply stare at you as if they’ve never seen people before. Then they have the audacity to have the credit card machine Programmed to give a tip, they deserve to be fired every single one and a staff that actually wants to work hired. The Tropical Smoothie in College Park has a phenomenal staff and I drive out my way past Laurel to give them my business. This location deserves zero stars.

Ordered through app, driver delivered to wrong address. I contacted the store and was informed I would receive a refund, several weeks later, still no refund. Ordered again today and the driver spilled my smoothie right outside my door, called the store and was told it was nothing they could do and hung up on me!!!

I ordered a smoothie and took a couple steps to the other counter then my smoothie was finished. It took a few seconds. I was very pleased with the service and the overall customer service. I will continue coming to this place.

My order was made incorrectly and unfortunately I did not know until I was home. I return the following day and the owner said I can pay for the missing item. Ridiculous. I'm going to pay for something missing. Mind you, I was a frequent customer. No more. I appreciate good customer service and this owner only cared about pinching on ingredients and not correcting her employee mistake.

They ran out of straws so I had to wait longer for straws than I did for the smoothies to be made. A customer who had ordered after me revived a strawberry straw because they were out, and when I asked if I could get those they said no because I had more smoothies. I told them that I had spent more money. Why make me wait and not the other customer? Not the way to treat customers.

I ordered the kiwi quencher without the non fat yogurt. There smoothies and food are really good. I like that you can customize the menu items. They have a rewards app where you can redeem free food and smoothie items.
