I was hungry, but I didn't want my same old food. I really wanted West African, but I was anxious because what if I spent all this money and the food is awful?
Anyway, I didn't spend a lot of money - the food is priced reasonably. And the food was divine.
I got pepperpot with goat, beef suya, and peanut soup with goat.
My entire family loved it.

Authentic Ghanaian Cuisine!
I tried the waakye and suya, and they were absolutely amazing—rich in flavor and truly authentic. It felt just like home. I highly recommend their food to anyone craving genuine Ghanaian dishes!

Took me awhile to try them out, when I did I was happy with my choices. I stop by at least once a week for dinner. Our favorite is the waakya/ stew and peanut soup. Order in advance so it can be ready when you arrive.

Delicious food amazing customer service. I have no idea what the bad reviewd are about. When I read a few, i almost changed my mind. I’m glad I didn’t. I still decided to go in and I ordered the jollof rice with the suya beef. So delicious. The sauce was amazing and so was the beef. I live far away, but if I was closer, I will definitely be visiting at least once a week.

The best Jallof Rice in Laurel! Not overcooked and seasoned to perfection. My son is a picky eater and I introduced him to Vieve's food, no complaints! The service is wonderful. Will be bringing the whole family here. Thank you!

Was very excited to eat here. If you look American, the man at the register sits there and stares at you like you have 2 heads. You will also be overcharged and questioned about your eat habits. The price on the menu for okra soup with fish and 1 side is 18.99. I also ordered plantain for 7.99. When he rang it up but then overcharged me the okra soup at $21.99 and then taxed me after that. When I asked him about it, he acted like I was going to be too dumb to notice and said it’s just tax and quickly changed the screen; I told him to go back. When I pointed it out to him that it’s a different price from the menu he said it’s because of the rice. The menu says the okra soup includes a side (choice between rice, bakku and something else). He told me he can remove my side to lower the price to the menu price. I said I just want what’s on the menu. At that point I was so pissed I just left and said forget the order. I don’t like that type of treatment at all
