I love sweetbay! I wished I visited more . Brussels sprouts and any of their drinks are my favourite. I like the pasta too!

I booked the whole restaurant on a Monday (they are normally closed) and had my 80th birthday party with 54 people. Peter and his staff took care of everything, the heavy hors d'oeuvres included oysters rockefeller, chicken and beef sliders, stuffed mushrooms, ahi-tuna bites, whisked toast, and more. Every person, yes, every person, commented on how good the food was and how efficient and courteous the staff was. There was no waiting for drinks as Peter had 4 bar tenders who kept everyone happy. I was especially pleased when I paid my bill, as it came in under budget. Leonardtown has a gem in Sweetbay.

Fabulous decor, delicious food and great staff. My friend and I left restaurant crossed street and she tripped and fell and tore her knee up. My husband went back to restaurant and the owner gave us a bandage and a ride back down the big big hill to the boat dock. Very kind!

Salmon was fork tender and orzo
with chimichurri vinaigrette was absolutely delicious. had the affogato for dessert - the crème brûlée was okay.

Great place for a late Sunday lunch! Not cheap, but the food is SO good it's great value! Quiet (ish) and classy. Our server (Maddie) was awesome!

This is hands down the best spot in St Mary’s county. Service is top notch, great fine dining experience but with a casual vibe, food is exceptional, drinks are top notch. Whether it’s date night or just popping out for a good time, SweetBay is the place to go!

Highly suggest this for lunch . My wife and I had rose for drinks . Waitress was wonderfully pleasant and food was ten out of ten . We had the stuffed mushroom , roasted carrots with feta and pork skewers .

So the food was great, the servers were wonderful, HOWEVER I was REALLY dismayed when the owner (I'm assuming) or manager asked a family to leave because of their child. It really hurt me. Kids can be loud and they didn't really give them a chance to get the kid settled down, they could have offered some food to them quickly to distract the kid. Who by the way had a device and the parents were clearly trying to calm the child down. Also offering to put them outside on a VERY hot day was ridiculous.

Great location in Leonardtown Square. Delicious food & drinks. Great vibe. Very trendy. Great place to show off to your big city friends & family.
