Golden Chicken & Japanese Grille

I wish that I could give this place a 0. I visited this location on my lunch break from the nearby Naval Base and only ordered a small 2 piece chicken with fries. So far I have been waiting over 20 mins for my food while other customers have entered, ordered, received their food and are long gone AFTER ME!!! DO NOT VISIT THIS TRASH ESTABLISHMENT!!!!

Despite reading a lot of bad reviews I still took the chance and tried this place out. I’m glad I did because I was pleasantly surprised how good the fried chicken was. I purchased the 10 for $20 fried chicken box. It was hot and crispy and the batter had good flavor. Will definitely be coming back again for more friend chicken.

This used to be my favorite resturant until they hired the new front desk girl. She was so beyond ride to us and turned away over $50 of buisness this company could have made. I'm certainly sure that the owner would not be happy to hear that she took it upon herself to excuse money that could of been made. I am appalled at how rude she was and all because my mother asked about the coupons being applied which they where not. This company will go out of buisness with people like that working here. Please fix this issue.

The food is always decent, however as someone who has owned and worked in the service/customer service industry you should hold your employees to a higher standard as they are a reflection of your business. Wearing a crop top with your belly hanging out and sweatpants that have writing on the butt aren’t really work appropriate attire especially when working with and handling food. The counter where the soda machine is along with sauces was covered with sauce (it takes literally 5 seconds to wipe down a counter). I understand that these workers are either teenagers or VERY young adults but come on..

The food is great no complaints I’ve had just about almost everything on their menu, luckily I’m not secretly critiquing anymore although tonight’s visit has me second guessing about possibly coming back into doing them again. My wife and I decided to stop in there this evening for a bite to eat ok cool why not we use to go all of the time let’s go, When I tell you the two highschool hooligans working there bashed each and every customer that came and went and also were speaking loud enough for guests in the dining area to hear we were both utterly embarrassed at what we were hearing. So im gonna have to pass from coming back until the highschool staff is no longer working there. That’s the only complaint I have is the staff that works the front of the house.

I had the chicken/rice/vegetables and some chicken egg rolls. The meal was pretty good, lots of chicken and the rice and sauce was good too. The chicken egg rolls were OK. They had a strange consistency on the inside. Not bad, but not what I was expecting. The service was good enough. I mean you walk up to the counter, order, pay, sit down and they bring out your order. There is a screen when paying to add a tip. I don't really understand the tip thing when it's not really a sit-down place. The order was prepared pretty quickly. The inside of the place was mediocre at best. The table and seats could have used a cleaning. Maybe I would eat there again.
