Well I read all the reviews and was a little skeptical about going with the random negative reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. The drinks to start off were outstanding. One of the best Manhattans I've had. The Miso soup was also one of the best I've ever had. Not sure what they do to it, but the broth was so good and plenty of seaweed and tofu. The fried rice was crazy good too. The sushi was also excellent. It's raw seafood so I can't rave...
I would put this place in my top 10 Chinese restaurants. If you don't see it on the menu, ask the waiter, odds are they'll make it for you. Top shelf establishment! Thank you Joey Chiu's
Mediocre food. I ordered Ming Shrimp. You will get 6 shrimp for $26.50 smothered in chopped raw onions and sauce thrown on a plate. The shrimp had a strange taste when I bit into them and did not taste good at all. I was completely turned off by this dish. The Spring Rolls I ordered were crispy and fresh. I gave three stars because of the excellent customer service.
