Easily located off of a highway (I-83 MD exit 16) that I travel frequently yet I never had been there in all these years. An attractive small shop with a tiny cafe seating area for an order/pickup window. I got the BALT which might have been called a VALT as the other review described it. I think I could get addicted to the tempeh bacon as this was prepared. I also purchased several pre-packaged prepared foods to go. Prices appeared reasonable to me for the quality. It's definitely going to be a new stop for me when I travel the highway past there during open hours, as the cafe is open every day of the week. Updated from previous review on 2024-06-22

I had a V A L T which was a toasted tempeh based BLT with avocado, it was quite small but very delicious. I also had a cleansing cocktail juice, needed more ginger so I also had a ginger shot which was literally raw ginger and nothing else! Loved it all. Really liked the vibe of the store it was located in, run by lovely people for decades apparently. Would definitely go again.

Great lunch spot inside a mom and pop health food store. Order at the window in the back. Keep in mind that there is no dine-in available, to-go only. It’s also possible to call ahead and pick up. I had the black bean burger in a wrap and the nutty vanilla smoothie. The vegan garlic aioli is fantastic on it. My friend had the tempeh reuben with the peanut butter blast smoothie. It was very good. 3/4 of the menu is already vegan, and you can make substitutions on sandwiches with cheese for vegan cheese for a dollar. They also have a small soup bar. They had two vegan soups, carrot and mushroom barley, the day I went. I tried the carrot soup and it was fantastic, very savory. The service was very friendly. I will definitely return to this place again.

Ordered the b.a.l.t (bacon avocado lettuce tomato) pretty funny name if ya think about it! Haha! Unfortunately though! Mine came with no bacon! There instead was some nasty meaty seed strips on it or something? Yuck! Wth? I told the employee and she got an attitude with me and try to explain to me what bacon is!? Are you joking?

This place is AMAZING! As a vegan working in Timonium, finding this place was a lifesaver on a day I didn't have time to pack lunch. The food exceeded my expectations by far, and the service was extremely fast. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Employees aren’t wearing masks or using gloves when touching food. The place is gross. Not worth the risk. Health dept needs to be informed. Gonna do that today.

This place is sooo good! Can I give them six stars?! I can’t believe food without meat can taste so good.

Positive changes happening here!! New cooks/crew that are serious about introducing different foods for the healthy palate. Tried the pseudo-Tuna Melt (tuna made of carrot), cashew cheese, lettuce, tomato, thinly sliced onion for me, served on sprouted (?) bread, toasted nicely. Surprisingly good & filling. Nice size sandwich, too. Only ate half & took the rest home. Other new options include a beet-pastrami sandwich. The extraordinary Reuben, always a favorite here, now uses marinated tempeh (marinated in-house) instead of the previous type. I sampled the marinated version and it was more flavorful and worth the try another time. The tuna and cashew cheese are also made in-house. I found Tak (forgive if not spelled correctly) knowledgeable about veggie food and cooking with a background in veg food preparation. Very professional & personable. Christy, also, a maker-of-food, was not in yesterday, but seems to a good group. Look forward to trying more new, creative additions to existing menu. Thanks for the meal yesterday everyone!! Another time for sure.
