The most delicious BBQ we’ve ever had! The baby back ribs are amazing; literally fall-off-the-bone! The mac ‘n cheese is the best! The customer service is wonderful; so friendly and helpful! Every time we visit Deep Creek, we always eat here. I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened in 2008 and I’m glad my kids love it just as much as I do!

We want to Deep Creek, MD for a little family vacation, & on our last night we wanted to try Archue's because we had seen it when driving in & immediately thought it looked good. It was SO good! We have a family of 3 and spent about $100, which was great for what we got. The pulled pork and mac & cheese was amazing! My husband got the rib sandwich & it was so good! They have 2 kid's meal options--my son got the mac and cheese with chicken nuggets & loved it. The environment in general was great & we got our food so quickly. We already talked about making a day trip out here just to enjoy the food again!😋

I'm not from Maryland, but I traveled here on vacation and the food was very enjoyable. I ordered a Sampler with Fries and a side of Gravy and everything I ate was very enjoyable. I also enjoyed the interior atmosphere of the building, it reminded me of the late 2000s - early 2010s period of life.
Overall I had a great time here and if I ever end up back in Maryland I'll have to stop here again. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Overpriced, inadequate, horrible tasting, flash frozen, fattening, pleasures food. Staff is incapable of understanding instructions due to apparent food coma, this food is disgusting and made straight from freezer to grease to bowels. If you bother to taste the food after fighting nauseating heaves, you will be left astounded as to how a place can charge any price at all for this food. Would rather eat at the gas station next door.

The good: the restaurant appeared to be clean.
The mediocre: the mac and cheese tasted fine, but it was a very small portion for the price.
The bad: the brisket was not very good at all. At first glance, it had the appearance of roast beef and did not look like any other brisket I've ever had. Taste-wise, I could not detect an ounce of smoke flavor. And the provided sauce tasted more like sugar cookies than anything. It was by no means inedible, but it was not good.
Overall: the prices are not cheap but not out of line with other bbq restaurants I've been to. However, the actual food served here is not worth the price, and I would not recommend this restaurant.
[Sidenote for anyone who is getting fed up with constantly being asked for tips: although you have to order your food by standing in line and prepaying, the receipt gives the option for tipping. I saw multiple servers walking around, so I assumed that they would at least bring out drink refills, utensils, and/or bus the tables while we were eating. Unfortunately, my assumption was incorrect, and I did all of the above for myself and tipped the wait staff for the privilege of serving myself.]

If you’re ever in Swanton, MD, make sure to stop by Archie’s BBQ! The food is great across the board, but what really blew me away was their Ghost Pepper BBQ sauce. Now, I know the name might sound intimidating, but don’t let it scare you off—it’s the perfect balance of heat and sweetness. I couldn’t get enough of it! The spice level is just right, not overwhelming but still packing a punch, and the sweetness rounds it out perfectly. Highly recommend giving it a try—you won’t be disappointed!
On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. They really go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. All around, a fantastic spot!
