Unfortunately we wont go back to Archies. We have been 3 times and the meals have been disappointing. I dont like giving unhappy reviews. But this is a very pricey place for the quality of food. Staff is friendly and dining room is clean... food is just not worth it. we spent over $100 each time for two people.

Fall off the bone ribs. Ribs are good but not excellent. They taste a little bland to me. Very goos service. Very clean restaurant and bathrooms. Pricey, but similar price to other ribs in the area. I find everything is pricey in Garrett county though. There are better ribs at Unos and not so pricey.

Service and customer service was great! The food though… I ordered the brisket plate lean and it was lean but it had no seasoning it felt like just sliced unseasoned roast beef, the corn bread was like an unmixed batch of jiffy. I also got a slice of peanut butter pie which was so thick and grainy. I cried we came in to Deep Creek on Monday Archie’s didn’t open until Thursday and I have been thinking about this brisket for 4 days. I cried at how disappointing this was.

cold mushy dog food not much more impressive than a scoop of mystery meat from a hospital cafeteria. no flavor to be found. their bbq sauce has no flavor. tried the ghost pepper bbq sauce, no heat whatsoever. coleslaw tasted like pure sugar, and the mac n cheese was cold and hard. 120 bucks for 4 meals and 4 drinks.

The brisket is more like Arby's roast beef than barbecue brisket. You pay extra for sides. It just seemed like a tourist trap

Overall great. We really liked the pulled pork and pulled chicken. Potato salad also terrific. Brisket sandwich lacked flavor. Super friendly service.

BBQ is such an easy, but hard food to make. And I think Archie’s nailed theirs.
We got their award winning ribs, and the brisket plate.
And wow. It has to be the best ribs I’ve ever had. Brisket was great, sliced thin, still great. But the ribs were out of this world!
Would definitely visit again.
