“We're visiting from DC, and went here two days in a row. Service (Mo and Robert) was awesome, beer selection and cocktails were great (Cherry Blossom was excellent, Goonies was a bit too sweet), pizza/flatbread was good, and bingo was fast-paced and fun.”

“Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We ordered Fries with beef gravy, ribs, pull pork, brisket with corn bread and smoked chicken wrings. The brisket is the best among all. The fries are very good. The wings on the other hand are a little too dry to my taste. Overall, pretty decent. We went during the spring break. Not many activities around and many restaurants in the deep creek region are closed or have limited opening hours.”

“Two visits during our weekend stay at Deep Creek. Both delicious, both five stars. Second time was busier but still great service. Iced lattes were the best ... just started their Fall drinks. So yummy! Custom made - very attentive workers! Clean store with something for everyone - ice cream - hard and soft serve, coffee drinks, fudge, other drinks (shakes, smoothies, floats, etc). A little gem!!! Will add to our must stop at list when in the area.”

“Took a while to be greeted and seated. Had to wait on our food because of a large call in order, which wasn't a problem. However, I expected the food to be hot since there was a longer wait. It was barely warm. Seemed like they were short on staff because customers were standing around waiting to be seated and at the register. Waitress was friendly but didn't check on us throughout the meal. I'm just a little disappointed this visit.”

“Better food than pretty much any other on-site dining option, and the bar is typically open later than Wispers next door. A small selection of tap beers and standard mixed drink options are available, but don't expect anything super high-end or exotic. Entrees are in the $15-$25 range, but portions are generous. There's a small amount of bar seating with one TV or a more traditional dining room option.”

“They Proudly represent the BLM movement, Migrants, and LGBT-QIA as stated on various signs & decorations throughout. They also referred to our proper pronouns while there. The food was pretty good as well. Their vegan cauiflower "wings" are a must! You'll forget about real meat after eating these! So happy to have found such a welcoming safe space! A+”

“Excellent latte, and an exceptional cinnamon roll.The indoor seating is bar stool and limited, but during the summer the deck is lovely and on the back of the building so it’s protected from the bustle of the highway.We happened on the shop when we needed some charge for our EV. There’s a charge station at the Garrett Co Visitor Center a 2 minute walk away.Parking: The parking is behind the shop from the Garrett Hwy, but easy to find via an entrance between Canoe On the Run and the Exxon Station.”

“Pawn Run kept popping up on Facebook, the not salty podcast and even signs leaving my neighborhood. We usually go to Dutches, Honi and Firewater. We love those places on the lake. However, this past Saturday we decided to find out what all the fuss is about. Well, we are so glad we tried it! The drinks, food, atmosphere & staff were simply amazing. They had live music that wasn’t too overbearing and quick service all while providing phenomenal drinks and really great food! Try the Smokehouse Nachos and house Margaritas! The best is that it’s walkable back home! We can’t wait to go back!”

“It was my first time at this establishment and I must say it was the ABSOLUTE BEST I have been at in quite sometime. From the minute we walked in the door the staff was VERY PLEASANT , FOOD WAS SERVED VERY FAST , HOT AND it was a group of 5 and our orders were all correct. I took my twins out for thier 21st Birthday & thier significant others . The staff sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to them it was ALL AROUND A GREAT DINNER AND EVENING SPENT. “Hidden gem in northern Accident, just 15 mins from Deep Creek. They offer 7 different ciders and you can do tastings of however many you like and purchase bottles of cider, snacks, and bring some of your own food to enjoy on site. The area has plenty of parking, plenty of outdoor covered and open seating, and fire pits for cooler months. My favorite cider was the town namesake, Accident, for its bright lemony finish.”

“Took my family to the Honi Honi for an early lunch, we had little kids with us and there are some nice play areas for them to climb and run around. The food is from Pizzeria Uno next door, we enjoyed the pizzas and nachos we got. The drink menu is perfect for summer, lots of interesting frozen drinks, etc. Outside seating is excellent but it does get crowded! Had a great time and will definitely be back.”

“Little Sandy's Restaurant might look like a gas station at first, but it's actually a cozy spot with amazing country food. Skip the fancy places in Deep Creek and head here instead. You won't regret it!”

“I saw the pits smoking away in the parking lot and knew I found something good! Awesome BBQ, had the brisket sandwich and it was the best brisket I've ever had and I've tried a lot! I also smoke my own meats at home and this puts mine to shame. Wife had the grilled chicken and said it was delicious, nice char on the outside and juicy on the inside. Oakland is a very small town and this place is a gem! Highly recommend.”
