“We were there this past summer for a bike race. Everyone was very friendly and the staff was most helpful. The rooms were clean with new carpet and the small sitting area outside our room was well maintained. We dined in the main dining room and had the pasta Alfredo with chicken; we requested broccoli in addition to our chicken. We really appreciated that the portions were offered in three different sizes. It was the most delicious pasta Alfredo we had ever eaten. We still talk about it! We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay!”

“I have eaten here multiple times and I've always been happy with the customer service and the food. Tonight I had a few questions about the rewards card and the worker both were very helpful. They were polite and didn't mind holding a conversation with customer as they worked. Also the one making my sub took the time to make it right instead of throwing it together quickly ike other places.”

“Casual resort/motel on a beautiful big lake. We stayed one night and played golf. The food at the restaurant was very good. Nothing fancy but hits the spot. Rooms are very plain but it's a place to sleep. Didn't hear any neighbors. Golf was a lot of fun. The course isn't too hard but has some challenges and a mix of dog legs and elevation changes. A few holes on the lake which are nice. Hole 10 is awesome. The conditions are fine, not bad, not great, but the price is right for what you get. Don't think this will be a destination for me again but it was a fun time and recommend if you're in the area.

“Stopped in for some brews and dinner. Boy were we in for a treat! The nachos were excellent and could work as a meal for one! The pepperoni rolls were amazing! One of our party had a bologna sandwich (I believe it was a special that night) that was excellent. The Class III Whitewater IPA and Class IV Zinger IPA were great. We had several wait staff come check on us, so we always had filled drinks.

It was a little difficult to find, but well worth the trip!”

“I love this bistro!!! it simply is the best place in downtown Oakland to eat or have a cocktail or even sit and talk with friends. 206 offers a variety of cocktails that change with the seasons, as well as every classic cocktail you can imagine the food is second to none. You can see fresh ingredients come through the restaurant from the farmers market, and certainly taste the quality and caring that goes in every thing. I make it a point to stop here at least a few times a week. It doesn’t matter if it’s for breakfast, lunch dinner or for the entertainment/music they have never disappointed me. Everything is top notch, and the owners and staff are all friendly and fun to interact with! If you’re anywhere in downtown Oakland or walking up Alder Street, you do not want to miss this experience!!!”

“I was working in the area and the customer provided their barbecued chicken lunch and I cannot remember eating better chicken EVER! Lunch came with the entire left side of the chicken baked beans and Mac and cheese. I thought there was no way I could eat all of the chicken but I did along with the baked beans which were in my top 3, didn’t make it to the Mac but it looked good. Will probably eat there again tomorrow for lunch.”

“As far as the staff she tried to handle everything that she could. It was only 1 person in the store behind the counter. the line was almost a 20 minute wait. The ice-cream was good, but definitely not as good as lakeside creamery. If I had to pick to drive 5 to 10 extra minutes to go to lakeside I would.”

“We had a group of 8 for a lovely tea yesterday afternoon. The table was set so beautifully! The scones were heavenly and all the sandwiches and desserts were so delicious! Customer service was excellent and the wild flowers were so beautiful! Will definitely be back on our next vacation! “Strolled into the store during their break on a very busy Autumn Glory Thursday. I had their hours incorrect for the day but the team was there prepping for the evening festivities! Dave took no time at all at offering us turkey dinners anyway! They smelled so good, the drive home was torture. Hands down, the best turkey dinners in town come from Rolling Rack. The turkey was so tender and the gravy tasted homemade. My son raved about the corn on the cob plus ate my roll and his. Make sure you add Rolling Rack to your list of local restaurants that still feel like family!”

“Ashly was a great server and even helped us with a special menu item for the kids. Her smile was welcoming as this was our first time here and to Oakland. This diner tucked quietly inside the Motel is a gem of a diner. I had to try the liver and onions which was fabulous as well was the kids meal. We will be back and it’s worth the drive and the atmosphere was like stepping back in time to a genuine family style diner. Thanks for the service and the cooks deserve kudos as well.”

“I’ve been going to The Liberty Restaurant at Camp Dawson for well over 5 years now, and it’s hands down one of my favorite spots to grab a bite when I’m here.
