“Beautiful atmosphere and a wonderful cozy vibe inside the restaurant. Had space for our big group of 11 and took care of us quickly getting drinks out, including delicious hot chocolates.Service was really great, our server Pauline was very friendly and attentive along with the young man helping her.The food seemed to be made from scratch, ie home made style cooking and it was very very delicious along with the desserts.Will probably come back next time I make my way out this direction.”

“My family and I have eaten here several times. We love the food, the cleanliness of the restaurant and the location. However, we do not care for the waitresses. They all act like you are a major inconvenience to them when you go in. They all look very grumpy and like it’s taking every ounce of energy to do anything.My last experience there was with 8 other co-workers. Our table was dirty and clearly needed wiped down. I requested that it be cleaned and was totally ignored. Everyone at the table heard it. She was most unfriendly. When I paid for my meal, no tip was left and there definitely wasn’t a thank you from her.I hear good stuff all the time about the food, which I totally agree with that , but I also hear bad comments about the wait staff all the time and I definitely concur with that as well . I’m sorry but not sorry”

Attentive to her job, smiles every single time, and all around amazing. A pleasure to be a customer. The food is good and quick. I have not experienced long waits to be seated. When the place is packed, food orders can take longer than desired but that's with anywhere. Love coming back every year.”

“The servers are always very pleasant. They alwsys Make sure to Double check our to go orders and add plenty of condiments, the wait is never outlandish, when we dine in , the staff is always prompt to take our order and keep our drinks full.”

“I’ve ate at the Kingwood Burger King around three times in total. Twice going through the drive through, another time I picked up takeout from inside. The first two times I went through the drive through, I couldn’t figure out how my order would be repeated back to me perfectly, but somehow always be wrong. After going inside the third time, it started to make sense. Upon going inside, you’ll discover the vast majority of their staff are high school girls. These girls talked, played, and giggled while people were lined up waiting for their orders to be taken. The entire restaurant was filled and by the time we got our food, almost an hour had gone by. Once we arrived home, we had discovered that our food was not only missing items, but also incorrect. While inside, I also noticed the manager who seemed increasingly frustrated with her staff for taking their jobs so non-serious and so inconsiderate of their customers. However, I understand that there are learning curves and no one is perfect. That being said, I have not been back since so all of this could’ve been fixed by now. The management seems alright, so if you’re missing something, don’t ask the workers to fix it, ask for a manger. I say this because even if you ask them to fix it, they’re still going to make it wrong. It almost feels deliberate once it’s happened so many times. Another thing I recall is when asking to modify anything such as a sandwhich, like asking for “no lettuce”, or “no pickles”, they say “alright”, but never actually bother to take it off. I don’t know if it’s because they don’t know how, or sheer laziness, but that was one of the biggest pet peeves for me. Other than that, their food is great. If you can get past the wait times and immature staff, you’ll be ensured a good burger. The management seems great and I hope things improve in the near future.”

“Actually really good food. It's pizzas and hoagies and the like. Parking kinda sucks because of the stores location, but the adjacent grocery store is empty and I use their lot.”

“I found High Ground Brewing while on a drive just exploring the area. I didn't originally plan to stop in Terra Alta, but then I saw the sign for High Ground Brewing and decided to check it out. It was such a memorable experience. I wish I had written this review sooner because I wish I could name drop the guy behind the bar that served us. You could tell he was invested in the brewery because he was so passionate about the beer they serve. I mean you know it's good when he says, "I'm going to make you try an IPA" after you say you don't like IPAs. Everything he gave me was excellent. I absolutely love this place. I highly recommend High Ground Brewing if you haven't been here yet. I will certainly be back the next time I'm in the area!”

“First time visiting and very much impressed! The place was packed when we got there yet we were attended to right away! The QR code ordering is not only convenient but quite expedient. I had a cold beer in hand less than a 1 minute from ordering. Just wow! Special shout out to Jameson for keeping the kitchen open for us as we arrived near the kitchen closing time. Overall the Screech Owl has great food and even better yet attentive customer service. Something so hard to get these days sadly. Cannot recommend them enough, thank you to all the staff there!”

“Recently booked the Holiday dinner for 5. Truly the best meal I've had in ages and well worth the drive and money! Everything was top notch from the moment we arrived, friendly staff, beautiful and festive atmosphere. The 5 course meal started with an impressive charcuterie board to share, homemade rolls, followed by the most delicious squash bisque. The entree and sides were impressive and the dessert sublime. The atmosphere was delightful, background music soothing but not intrusive. Trellis and staff truly make you feel welcome. His devotion to presenting an impressive experience is an accomplished goal!”

Lettuce is always brown looking here and it makes me disappointed. At least all the other veggies usually look on point.”

“The dude that waited on us, sorry I didn't catch your name, he was awesome and patient. We were a group of 6 with children and the adults couldn't decide what to get. In all we had a chance to try salad, hoagies, pizza, boneless wings, chicken tenders and french fries. Everything was great. Their pizza was the best and the dough is made daily by the same dude that assisted us. Prices are fair, food is great.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice big ramp, flat inside, easy table access.”
