Great experience. My husband got the tomahawk steak. Delicious, cooked to perfection. Moist. No steak sauce needed. He was able to eat about half. Heated up next day to make a delicious steak salad. I had the cod which also was great. Service was good. Will go back soon.
We live in Kingwood and truly appreciate having The Hitching Post in our community. The food is typically consistently good, fairly priced, and the menu offers a nice variety. The restaurant is always clean, and overall, it’s a solid local dining option.

I just discovered Kingwood has THIS?! 🤯 I mean, the decor is on point, the game room is lit, and the bar area? 🍻 I was in awe, man! The kiddo had her usual Alfredo, while I went for the Reuben, which was pure 🔥, and the Jellyjolly Rancher cocktail? 🍹 It was a work of art! I'll def be back for more laughs and good food in Preston County, WV! 😄
