This restaurant is part of the Wisp resort, but was near our bed-and-breakfast so we thought we'd give it a try. The place was practically empty -- only one other couple was eating there. Service was a little slow, and the food was average, at best. I ordered a salad with a 4-ounce sliced flatiron steak on top. My wife had mussels. My steak was overcooked the first time, so I had to send it back. It was perfect the second time. Still, overall, not a place I'd go back...
I can eat two plates of the stuffed mushrooms. They were absolutely delicious. The NY strip steak was a generous size. Im glad I came and dined. The service was great, I did come off season so the dining room was quiet. Quiet enough that I could hear everything from the kitchen. Definitely coming again though! Hopefully next time I can catch their french onion soup.
Better food than pretty much any other on-site dining option, and the bar is typically open later than Wispers next door. A small selection of tap beers and standard mixed drink options are available, but don't expect anything super high-end or exotic. Entrees are in the $15-$25 range, but portions are generous. There's a small amount of bar seating with one TV or a more traditional dining room option.
