I wanted to love this restaurant. The vibe is pretty good and we had done take out here a couple of years ago. We were in McHenry for the weekend and were looking forward to giving it a try. And WOW were we disappointed.
The service was truly awful. We were there around 5:30P and the restaurant was only about 1/3 full. Our waitress took our drink order, brought our drinks and then we literally did NOT see her again until she (eventually) brought our check. We had to all share a glass or water because we weren't able to order more drinks or get refills. But honestly the worst part was that we couldn't get silverware. We eventually were able to get 4 sets (there were five of us) and we literally shared napkins and silverware. It was absolutely ridiculous.
There was no one we could even ask or anyone from whom we could get help. If it had been an option we would have stayed for dessert. I honestly don't have any idea whether they even have dessert though because after waiting for at least 20 minutes after we had finished eating, our waitress showed up with our bill. There was never any acknowledgement that she had disappeared or had been unavailable. It was truly shocking.
The food was just ok. It was a little cold - but that was probably because we had to wait so long for a kitchen staff member to find silverware for us. There was just nothing special about any of it. And it was NOT worth the horrible service.
We obviously won't go back. Don't ruin one of your night in Deep Creek at this restaurant. There are too many other good options!

We went there attracted by their claim to be vegetarian friendly. Waited quite a while to be seated. The person saw us but kept ignoring us. Finally he nodded perfunctorily to us to follow him.
We looked at the menu and were disappointed at the very limited vegetarian options. Decided to leave without eating.

It's a great music venue that also serves awesome food choices with staff members treating us like family !! Well worth the drive !!

We had an odd experience here. The food was great but the service was poor. Some of us arrived early and waited at the bar for the others to arrive, but none of the bartenders came over to us to get our drink orders. Instead, two different workers came over and kept telling us to “Wait for so and so…” who never came over to get us drinks. And then when everyone else arrived and we were seated, our waitress was very unfriendly to us. She got a few parts of our orders wrong, and snapped at us a few times about it which made us uncomfortable. Overall, the place seemed very understaffed in terms of bartenders and servers, but highly staffed in cooks - our food came out in no time at all and there were 3-4 people from the kitchen that brought out our food to us. The food was 10/10, no complaints there. But the whole lead up to the meal we felt really uncomfortable by the waitress and lack of service from the bar. We were there yesterday late afternoon.
