The waitress, Miranda, was quite polite and accurate, especially given that she was the only one handling three busy tables. I specifically appreciate her patience with our group's many questions.

On the side of our cashier, as a staunch Perkins Pie supporter, I appreciate that she asked if we'd like a slice. I hope the propaganda of Perkins' Pies spreads to the four corners of our great nation.

Best breakfast in town, and the friendliest servers.

We just ordered the turkey dinner family meal. Very good high quality food. We also got a pumpkin pie which certainly seemed homemade and not out of a freezer. Delicious. Very impressed and very happy we will be going back all the time. The only regret I have is that I didn't tip the lady for our pickup order and now I feel bad. I'll be sure to make up for it

Great people, bad food. My hashbrowns were cooked in margarine and tasted oily, no butter flavor. Meat was poor quality. Paid $18 for a 9 dollar meal

Called ahead at 10:30 am to reserve a table for 6. 4 are children. Arrived before 11. Wasn’t seated until noon. Seated many parties before us who arrived after us. It was after 1 before we were able to leave.

We came here on a Friday evening. I believe our server was Jennifer. But how would I know she didn’t even say “hi, my name is or how are you.” We were immediately greeted with a cold “what can I get you to drink?” We let that roll off of our backs. I am a server and know what proper etiquette is. This was not it. I was trying to ask for a refill and was deliberately ignored. Eventually she got the refill and I very cheerfully said “Thank you” to which I was met with being ignored once again. Then a few minutes later the smell of smoke from cigarettes became very much present in the restaurant. We come here every time we come to Deep Creek and have always had an amazing experience. However I do not think we will be back. Forgot to add as soon as our food came out she also set our check on the table without even asking.

Perkins is always a treat while vacationing in Deep Creek Lake. Friendly service, good atmosphere and great food.
