I typically frequent a different local restaurant, but I decided to try the The Green Turtle this time. Normally, I review the menu beforehand, but I skipped that step. The crab dip and shrimp pasta were absolutely delicious , while my uncle enjoyed an avocado chicken sandwich along with a Tropic Buzz drink. This place has quickly become one of my new favorites, and I must mention that our waitress, Jen, was fantastic at suggesting dishes for us to try.
Nobody answers the phone.When I walked in the host mentioned they intentionally shut phones off and online ordering when it is too busy. I have 3 small children and so it is harder for me to get out of the house on vacation to go order food, wait and then bring it home.
Loved, loved, loved this place! If we could give it more stars we would. Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly to us and even moreso our dog! Loved that! Service was excellent. Our waitress knew just when to leave us be and when to come to table. Plus she was just really sweet and helpful. Deck was beautiful. Menu had great variety and food was delicious. I’m always skeptical when a restaurant touts a dish as legendary but in this case, the chicken fingers lived up...
