I had a great time at Trout's House Seafood. The seafood was delicious, and despite how busy it was, the service was incredibly fast. The waiters were fantastic and handled the crowd with ease. It's clear why this place is so popular; the seafood is fresh and high-quality, just as other reviews suggest. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other highly-rated items like their famous crab cakes and steamed shrimp.

Seafood that is unparalleled

Seafood, especially crab cakes, — all great and I am glad they came to Deep Creek.

But stay away from crab dip if you know real crab dip. The plain crab dip , (for ridiculously high price $7.95?)— it is all cream cheese and hardly any crab. Last time I tried Trout’s Buffalo crab dip, all spice and barely crab. Both times I have thrown containers and good $ away.
In FL we can get crab or Cajun Crab dip for $2.95 at supermarket that is awesome.
Trouts from Baltimore must assume we have no taste at DCL, do not make our own crab dips, and are willing to throw away $!

I picked up a half bushel of blue crabs from Trout’s House Seafood, and they were absolutely top-notch. Every crab was heavy, packed with meat, and seasoned perfectly. You can tell they know how to do it right — nothing overcooked or waterlogged, just solid, flavorful Maryland-style crabs.

The staff was friendly, the order was ready right on time, and the price was very fair for the quality. Definitely one of the best crab-buying experiences I’ve had in a while. I’ll be coming back for a full bushel next time — no doubt about it.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for fresh, well-prepared crabs in the area!

Best crab cakes since we left Baltimore!

Great Experience! First time there and was skeptical but when I walked in, big bright eyes I had! Consider myself a Crab cake snob, and well their crab cakes literally may be the best dam ones I've ever had. I know a crab cake or two from living on the Bay to visiting Tangier Island.

Fish - they had a perfectly displayed loan of Sushi Grade Tuna, which I quickly selected the cut I wanted. ( I did want to get a side of the Rock Fish and do a crab imperial, but just had to much in the cooler already.
Crab Meat - We'll that's going to be tried this evening as we bought two kinds - Jumbo and regular lump of which both are very clean (actually they're extremely clean). The Jumbo Lump has some of the nicest lump meat I've seen in a long time, as least that I haven't picked.

Long story short! If quality seafood is on your list - there's no better place in the tri State area.. Thanks - I'll back back to load up again!

My family got a bushel #1 Male crab for $370. Boy I got scammed. I should have reached other places around the MC Henry area. I found another place for the same amount of crabs for $185.

Awesome crabs. As good as or better than Baltimore. Stacked in box not thrown in and plenty of seasoning. Not to mention great people.
