This is the best bakery in the DMV. I have never gotten something I wasn't impressed with here. I don't know how the variety in menu continues to be evolving and delicious but that's the case here.
The staff is warm, welcoming, and very kind. You leave with not only delicious food but a warm smile because of the genuine hospitality and enthusiasm of the people working there. The only negatives are the size of the store, the lack of a seating area, and its location.
If you are looking for incredible cookies, cakes, pies, or anything baked and you are within a 2 hour drive (I've just stood in line with a couple who drove that far to get here) start heading over you won't be disappointed!

Deb’s Artisan Bakehouse is pure magic. I’ve been coming here for over a year, and honestly, it’s ruined all other pastries for me... nothing else even comes close. Every croissant, cookie, and tart is perfection. I sometimes push harder at the gym during the week just knowing a Deb’s pastry is waiting for me on the weekend #bodybydebs. Deb and her team are always warm, welcoming, and just plain awesome. Part of me doesn’t even want to write this because the secret’s too good… but they’ve earned every bit of the praise. 💛🍰

hands down the best bakery I’ve ever been to! everything on their menu is delicious whether sweet or savory. definitely try the pistachio baklava buns, brown butter caramel banana cookies, or any cruffin flavor they have. staff is always super friendly and welcoming whenever I go in and i always look forward to seeing what’s on the menu for the week! Middletown is lucky to have a place like this!!

Absolutely insane bakery with top notch items. The gobbler is a work of art and the pumpkin cinnamon roll was the highlight of my autumn so far. I have a feeling I'll be back and I wish I lived closer.
Keep in mind there's nowhere to sit so take your pastries to go. Coffee is also nothing special so skip the cup and get it elsewhere/make your own.

Insane pastries!!! Highly recommend stopping! We were passing through and are soooo glad we came in. We got the fig/brie/almond pastry, the peach galette, and the blueberry maple biscuit. All heavenly perfection!

I don’t see how you could ever leave less than 5 stars across the board! The absolute best bakery in the Fredrick area, hands down (and we have a LOT of really great ones). Must try the cinnamon bun (basic I know but it’s incredible, everything is!)

We drove all the way from Howard county driving 40 min, and going back so happy taking two boxes for excellent art of love and care. ♥️💕💓
