First time to Manor Tavern, met friends forming a party of 6. Tried it for Restaurant week and most of us ordered from that menu. Portions were large, and delicious. For a Saturday night the place seemed understaffed and waits seemed long for service, though each of the courses were brought for everyone at the same time, so that was a win. Inside decor was classic old-money traditional; the grounds and gardens were beautiful.
We had a very early dinner at 4 pm on a Friday afternoon on the outdoor patio. Restaurant Week was happening so we ordered off the special menu which included an appetizer, entree, and dessert for under $50. The food was outstanding because of the freshness, perfectly seasoned, and upscale creativity. We enjoyed our meals savoring each bite. Our waitress was very attentive and polite. Our drinks were refilled promptly and she frequently returned to make certain things were to our satisfaction. This was our first time visiting and will return.
We went for our anniversary. They had a nice selection of vegetarian options online, so we decided to give it a try. The drinks were good, I had a yummy mocktail. The beet salad came out with no goat cheese, the server corrected that quickly. My entree was a tofu stir fry. It presented like a ramen bowl, veggies just swimming in teriyaki, blob of rice on top of it all. My boyfriend got a scallop dish which presented the same way, but with pesto. We barely ate them. Dessert was okay-flourless chocolate cake. They gave us a gift card to come back for a free appetizer as an anniversary present. Don't know that we will be back, just generally unimpressed.
It was a special occasion, service was excellent, ambiance was lovely. My food was excellent and very satisfying, I think it was the lean and low, shrimp scallops and spiraled vegetables. My husband ordered the fillet mignon and got an end with a bunch of gristle, very disappointing, We will go back again but won't be ordering the fillet mignon.
This is a neighborhood favorite and while yesterdays lunch was pleasant, the Buttermilk chicken sandwich was spicier than anticipated and topped with coleslaw which really cooled it off. Fries were extremely undercooked and the flatbread arrived with 1/2 noticeably burnt. Noise level was nice and quiet and our server was excellent.
Four of us had lunch here during the week. We were warmly greeted and the service was excellent. The portions were very generous. Three of us had sandwiches and two of us were not fans of their "double dipped" fries which seemed ordinary and not worth the calories. Previously we've enjoyed meals out on the covered patio, but the near 100 degree temperature the day we were there prohibited that! All in all a very pleasant lunch.
Lovely restaurant out in the country. Food and service were excellent. Pleasant decor and peacefully quiet.
Haven't been to Manor Tavern since 1993. This most recent trip was awesome. Beautiful place, the food and cocktails were delicious! I will 100% go back sooner then the next 32 years...
Always a great meal at the Manor Tavern. The Mahi was prepared perfectly along with the sides, etc.
Excellent food and a great atmosphere. The server was great and the manager was also very attentive and helpful when we had a very minor issue.

Porch seating on a warm spring day was delightful, as was the food and most especially the gin and lavender cocktail.
The Manor Tavern is one of our favorites! Great food, great ambience, and the service is outstanding. We especially enjoyed Lizbeth, Bronwyn and Sydney. And they did a beautiful job of helping us celebrate an 87th birthday. Great job! Thank you Manor Tavern!
A lovely lunch spot. Dining room was spacious and comfortable. Service was great and food was delicious with many nice selections. One of the best things too is that it was quiet allowing nice conversation at the table.
We used Chefs Expressions for our wedding and we would 10/10 recommend anyone and everyone to use them for their event. Sarah Armstrong was our point person and she is absolutely flawless. She and her team worked tirelessly to make sure everything was set up properly, came out at the right time, and tasted amazing.
We of course hired a number of other vendors for our big day, and Sarah made sure that all were on the same page and that the whole event went the way we had planned. She and her team worked so hard and were so polite and kind, and it truly showed throughout the event. Chef's Expressions was one of the reasons our day was so perfect and we can't imagine using any other company to pull it off like they did. Thank you Sarah!
We had a booth in the bar our favorite location. What a happy place to dine. Our server was Christian. What a very nice server who took very good care of us. My steak with mash potatoes and a sweet corn dish were awesome. My husband had a burger that.....like my steak was cook perfect. The bartender brought our favorite bread and apologized for getting it to us a little late...........fantastic. Please continue with everything you do. What a WONDRFUL place to spend an evening. One more thing. The laughter from very very happy patrons sitting at and around the bar was also a reason to want to continue going to the Manor Inn. Thank you, Stephen & Janet
